Callahan will not resign or be fired until his contract is up. He is here for a few more years. If this is the case were going to have a long 5 years.

i dunno its something that has always just been able to show what great fans we have and growing up was always something to hold proud, and now that the team isnt looking so hot, understatment, its something nice to atleast hold on to. i guess its the link between the golden age and now.

I dont care at this point who goes, obviously what we have isnt working. But we need to hang on to that sellout record, all the others are down the drain.

I think it would be best for nebraskans if we say were a volleyball school now instead of a football school. Atleast were undefeated in that sport. Hopefully another national championship, it wont be long now before volleyball is the talk around lincoln and they will have more national championships then the football team.

I was actually down in aggieland last weekend and many of the alumni want him gone, which isnt a suprise his only quality win was last year against texas. but also i must say after getting the gameday experience, there wasnt much enthusiams, i could sit there and talk to my four friends the whole game, it never got as loud as i have experienced in my fourteen years of husker games. as a high school senior i was considering going there but after that weekend it was a let down. im just fortuanate enough that the huskers are my team.

The thing that is missing is a dc like McBride who would chew them out, grab there facemask, and turn his face that angry red if anything went wrong. The fire started with the defensive coordinator and worked down the whole defense, that is lacking in this Nebraska team.

All husker fans just need to take a deep breath and take the game for what it was. Yes i know that we played horrible on defense and there is a need for change. Honestly I wish that there was some way we could get Pelini back from LSU, but I think Callahan is doing the right thing, look at his recruiting, the program is going to become one of the elite within the next few years just as long as we allow that time. Now I cant speak for myself since i was born in 89 but I think everyone was just spoiled with the success that NU had for the last forty years. But i can tell you to think back in the mid 70's when people wanted to get rid of Osborne, he almost left for Colorado, cause he couldnt win the big game against Oklahoma. It took him five years to brveak through and Callahan is only in his fourth but i believe that we will get back. Its also funny that we are complaining with mediocre years that consist of being the big 12 north champs, hell look at usc and the texas teams about ten years ago. They were barely above .500, if that. Everyone just needs to give Callahan time, but our defense needs to change and change quickly GBR!

Being at the game it did feel like momentum went away with the first one, but honestly our defense should have been good enough to stop the same play after about the 15th time. O well atleast they took the right steps to making sure he was ok. However the second injury was frustrating due to the fact we waited about 10 minutes then as the player leaves he stops and does the 'fight on' sign, after we gave him the curtious clap. That was aggrivating, but the sc players were all a little cocky. On the other hand, Castille was the one that nailed the second guy, since he wasnt getting much reps on offense we should have put him on D maybe he would have given the rb's a concussion as well.

I dunno if anyone else saw, and im pretty sure it wouldnt make it on but there was one that was 11 national championships 7 heismans but 1 killa.... (mugg shot of O.J. Simpson) also the whale vigina was hilarious because they kept passing it around and it took forever for the gaurds to catch it. But the best part of gameday i thought was using the promos as frisbees.

A red out is the way to go, the black out didnt work well at all.
