I got No clue after last week.....with the assault weapon bann winding down you know I will be traveling to deliverence country with my HK91..son. Huskers get back on track with a 41-7 gut check for Joe D..... Ross rolls up 225 total offense and 2 scores.....the rest of the big 12 is scared of the wee man with da sure hands. Herian takes it to the house 2 times for the cause.... Ritchie and his dad are seen at the Allegheny County Methadone Clinic getting a fix Armistead is seen knocking boots with a gal he hopes aint no guy...peace

Boys....I know we talked alot of smack before this game....and we got beat by a decent team who made us pay for our mental mistakes, it's that simple. The Corhuskers are very good when they protect the football...the fumbles were just bad fundamentals and the INT's were bad breaks and poor decisions....they were not caused by the lack of talent or the lack of effort.....I also want to say that So Miss played within themselves and cashed in when they needed too.... This team can still be very good, the talent is there, the defense is very good,we just got to protect the ball....BC will pound that into them over the next week. I'm asking you guys to let this go....lets not post about who did what and who fouled up....nobody here expected the Huskers to win all there games and we don't have to worry about that now...Lets just move onto the next game and handle this with the class and style not seen on the other boards around the Big 12. Lets stay upbeat...we still have a very good team.....GO BIG RED! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I just sat thru the Troy Debacle with some of my Mizzou fans(peeps)...And let me tell you it was sad( I fu@#ing loved it)...One gal had a eff Nu shirt on, class group....we did'nt get the Eff OU shirts untill switzer called the TE around play...these cats down here are the poorest excuse for a program I ever saw......I actually poured a little of my beer out on the floor for my homey(Brad Smith and Frank Solich) when Troy took it to the house late in the game......Lets get some work done Saturday agin So. No Doubt

I have seen the program at Mizzou move from utter shame(Bob Stull),to we are just happy to be here(Larry Smith), to the worst kind of fan(blame the reffs and other schools for your lack of succes and ignore the fact that you spend more money on the basketball team). These guys are now playing the Bill Snyder/Bill McCartny game...Lets Blame Nebraska and their fans for wanting to win.....puting up the money and effort...and yes winning.The average Tiger/KSU fan looks at Nebraska as some kind of cheating stealing bully, when in fact it is their lazy nare do well nature that has led to their less than gleaming record.....They forget about all the bowl money we have shared with the rest of the conference over the years...they forget about the TV revenue that comes with Schools Like NU...OU....Texas...Tex a&m....I guess they think ABC or Fox was dying to get KSU Mizzou games on tv's around the country.The very Idea that Missouri or KSU would even be in a BCS conference is a joke without OU NU pulling the wagon.

As A Guy Who Attends his fair share of Tiger games , let me say that I'm very happy to see that : A)Osu won at Ucla B)they are off the schedule and C)Mizzou seems to be looking past them and CU...I hope the Cowboys come into Columbia and put a little hitch in that Tiger giddy'up....Tiger fans are like Iowa Fans....they get a win and they are the champs(sad).....I can't wait for them to bring the Partridge Family Bus(team plane to Lincoln)up North.....I used to really enjoy the games as I could not make it to Lincoln as much as I like...but since 97 the fans around here have turned into the whiny type usually associated with the State of Kansas....

Anyone still think that Lord was a better QB than Joe D?....Does anyone believe we would have lost to Missouri with Joe as our starter last year?Anyone want to tell me getting rid of Solich was a mistake....Solich should be under investigation for point shaving...look at the talent his just left on the bench...I will never forget the 7-7 season and why...so we could be loyal to Jamaal Lord...F@ck Frank Solich....he put us thru that crap cuz he was lazy and so was the rest of the staff...they were all to busy telling us how great the team was in the 90's....hey Frank...thanx for nothing...and F@ck off! ! ! I can not believe a team with as much talent as this squad is not ranked....sorry for this post but if you sit down and think about what solich did to us over the last 3 seasons...well I got to go

I really like the fact that The D was able to shut down a team that was gifted with6 turn overs...First game jitters and a new system, but you can't take away the fact that Joe D can hit his recievers deep and Cory Ross is the man.. I think the fumbles in special teams may be a thing we need to address but I'm not ready to change anything right now...As far as Joe throwin the INT'S ....El Roberson thru his share but he also killed you with his arm and leg...Joe D is very dangerous...Brad Smith wishes he could thro downfield like Dailey.... After what I saw yesterday....I can't see anyway we lose to Texas Tech...and Oh by the way K State Looked like sh#t agin a terrible team...Sproles had 42 carries, he won't keep that up without an injury...they are not nearly as good as last year.....Mizzou's vaunted defense was gettin pushed around for3 quarters by what most Missouri fans would agree may have been the worst team ever to play at Faurot Field......Texas Tech really struggled and CU had to hang on agin CSU... I told you guy that we win 9 games and I really like that pick now...How bout Ya'll?

I know...I know, but sproles was pretty plain when EL was out last year and Texas will have to show me , OU is goin with a frosh with a bad shoulder...so why not Ross...he is a stud workhorse...give him the rock....name a back who will out pace hime and don't say sproles cuz that is a dream

I would try my best to save face for my family and my son if I was in Cog SR place...lets give the guy a break, I'm sure he has had a real long talk with Ritchie and as I said before...He will be back and when he gets right we will all be glad it was handled with class....I can only hope that Ritchie or His Father don't go for the gas can in the press and burn what I know to be an honest effort by the Coaches to keep their best player from killing this team and ruining his shot at the NFL.. Now I'm ready to move on to the business of watching The Big Red play football....Not since the 93 Orange Bowl can I ever remember a team with so much talent getting so little respect...Let's go and get some!

Well I like your enthusiasm....but I can't see 4 losses...No way we lose to TT or Mizzou....they simply will not do it.....this is a 10-3 ballclub not a 3 and 10....if T O was at the helm people would have us in the top 15 in the country and a favorite to win the North...I happen to think this coaching staff is VERY....Very good, that alone is worth a game or two....I also know we have better players up and down our 2 deep when you compare them to TT or Mizzou...and last but not least...you touched on the fact that we slid in some games late....this coaching staff will put an end to that....No way BC ever loses to Mizzou with a 4th quarter meltdown like we saw last year...........9 wins maybe more but none less

Here WEEEEEEEEEE GOOOOOOO The Big Red have put together the WEST COAST ALLSTARS for a run at the Big 12.I myself think that most people will be stunned when Ross goes over 150 yards on 30 carries this weekend.....I also believe that Joe D will run the ball alot this weekend as well. The west coast O in the hands of athletic mobile QBs is a very scary thing....Steve Young comes to mind, Mizzou is trying to run a version of it in Columbia(they would never admitt it)and look at the mobility of Smith. Joe Dailey will get more open runs than Carter's got liver pills...I also believe that the options plays out of the shot gun formation will still be in the package and the fullback is goin to catch alot of balls this year....I have a ton of faith in Joe D making something out of nothing (busted plays), and thats what make a great college QB. The Oline looks to be young but I'm goin to go out on a limb and say that they may be the bests we have had since 2001...this won't show till week 3 or four but look for these guys to gell...and look for Murtha to get in late in the early games(if healthy), simply because this staff knows this kid has got to have his mind on football or it will be transfer city(golphers). The recievers are a bit of a question mark to me, but the speed is there and I will concede that BC knows more about the talent than I.Speed tho, that is the key say we will see....if Joe D can hit a third of the wide open WR/TE players that Lord missed last year , LOOK OUT BIG 12.The KSU game comes to mind when you talk about missing wide-open recievers...imagine tha score with a decent QB in the game for the Big Red.Tight end looks good this year as well...... Well, ALL in ALL, it looks like a 9-2 year with a little luck and a solid year outa the D Can't wait to get at Mizzou and KSU this year as well as put an end to CU .The trip to TT has many worried . but I look at the Defenses in that game and we should have a big edge there...I don't give them as big an edge in the Offense as most , mainly because of the points i mentioned above, that leaves us with special teams and we got to be a slightly better team there...a win 28- 24...ball control and play action stuff wins it.

Ritchie will be given enuff rope to hang himself or pull himself out of the hole he is in....Lets face it, BC can't let this guy run wild and then tell the rest of the team that dicipline is important....Ritchie will be there for the big 12 opener and he will still be a 1st round pick in the nfl draft.....that is of course if he can get his sh#t together

Yes....and I want you all to sleep well tonite....B C is just letting the hot heads who ran over Solich know that their is a new way to act on this football team...I can only say that Ritchie is safe as long as he plays nice....the rest of them can sink or swim...I never asked about them.......

Guys quit have strokes over the depth chart...Ritchie will play and nobody will be booted ...The Coach will not be sending anyone home for good,none of the infractions are even close to the LP blow-up....

The option worked last year......Dailey showed flashes of a great option QB....Lord on the other hand was the worst kind of Option QB, he was not a good runner , he never made the play action stuff keep the safeties and the db's honest, and when he did get around the edge he promptly look for the pursuit because he was lonely....I guess. The option with the guy we got this year would have been fine,I think that is why Solich was let go last year instead of one more run with him at the helm....We would have won 9 games agin and Pederson just wanted a change.....If you look back the Husker history, the QB to follows a great QB always sucks and then we right the ship and roll on....The fact that Solich stuck with Lord and never went to Dailey is what doomed him.I know some guys will say Lord rolled up alot of wins and tons of Yardage....but he never did it on the big game days.Jamal Lord doomed the option at Nebraska.

Hey guys....When I look at the I-back spot I see a solid starter in Cory Ross... David Horne showed flashes 2 years ago but seems to lack the ability to make anyone miss (last year).The new guys coming could help , but I really like Cory Ross' toughness and speed....He really hit the holes hard when he got healthy. Cory probably is not in the same league as Ahman Green or Lawrence Philips, but he has done nothing but succeed when put in the game....And lets not forget he has not run behind the best of lines,nor has he had the benefit of a good Qb... Look for this kid to gain 900 to 1500 yards next year SEEYAAAAAA

Boys....The O-line will be the best in the North...No doubt.......The depth or should I say the quality of depth at RB looks better than it has since Alexander and Buckhalter, probably better talent than those two as well...With the line healthy and improved depth the running backs should see better holes and more daylight on the corners......The situation a QB is fantastic...I mean awsome....If Solich had played Dailey from game one last year I think we win agin Mizzou and play better agin KSU....There were times when I thought Lord was shaving points...he was horrible,any records he may have are a credit to the rest of the team..He stunk...We have depth a QB and we will still run the ball more than we will pass, but the new offense should help us move the chains and get the recievers and TE into the game.....Uur recievers and TE are as good as anybody's in the North.... We win 11 or 12 games next year.....YES......It's true...GO BIG RED Armistead P S...Who do you want on your team...Mike Grant or Jamal Lord?

The O-line 'croots look really good already...Big Mutha could make our depth concerns go away....with his size you gotta believe he will see play time next season....I'm not sayin he will come in and start, but he could really help at guard. Give us room to move some older guys over to tackle......Love this class... Coach Cal is really pulling our butts outa the fire.....BEAUTY.....OUT
