  1. The clock only said 0:00 as the scoreboard itself doesn't say final. Thant's more of a TV thing. The confusion came when one of the laterals hit the ground after the clocks struck 0. At that point people started streaming onto the field. Reporters, the stage, players from both teams. From my angle it looked like the Michigan player was tackled and then after a second or so you saw a guy running with the ball. Boiwman and Brothers did an outstanding job staying with the play and not getting caught up in the excitement. They were practically engulfed by all the people down in the endzone area. Easily they could have started celebrating. Man I still get a little nervous on how close we were to losing. Heart, determination, teamwork, and coaching led to a great win.
  2. At what position is it more crucial to have talented players. LB or OL?? I'd say OL. OL have to have the abiulity to recognize the blitzer, get in proper position, depending on the play, and make the block. You can take a realatively untalented LB and tell him his job is to run straight up the gut on a blitz (this is what other teams are doing isn't it??? It isn't like other teams LB's/S's are word beaters. Our OL is so bad that LB's/S's blitzing is the defensive gameplan. We have no threat at TE so the LB's/S's don't even have to account for that.
  3. Are you kidding me, I think I could run for some yards behind USC's line. Look against WSU, WSU totally took bush out of the game, yet USC still sdestroyed them. If it's not Bush, it's White, or the WR ( I can't erecall his name eeven though he lkeads the nation in TD receptions) or Leinert. That team is stacked. Of course Lucky would look great if he was playuing for USC. He wouldn't have to avoid tackles as he takes the handoff. Wake up people our OL sucks. Without an OL we could have Manning at QB with Harrison at WR and Tomlinson at RB and they wouldn't do anything. Is their a more important unit than an OL?
  4. Please admins, file this thread away so it can be recalled in a couple years. This is some funny stuff. Can you give a guy a chacne to get recruits in that are used to catching the ball and pass blocking. If after 2007 we are middle of the pack in the Big 12 then you have an argument, but until he gets some players for his offense this is just ludicrous.
  5. How funny. BC is trying to install a brand new offense with none of the right core (juniors, seniors) players. That and the talent level in those classes is low, very low. So bring in a new coach that gets to reap the rewards of the 2005 class, and what the 2006 class is shaping up to be. Give the guy a chance already. If in 2006 we do not make a bowl I will be very pissed. If after 2007 we aren't taking care of business and ranked in the top 10-15 I will be on the new coach bandwagon. To call for his firing this early is rediculous.
  6. I lived in Florida for 4 years (Crestview, located in the panhandle). I just moved away though three weeks ago. Texass now.
