  4. HG has it. I saw it too and got myself one. I don't even like Obama but it's kind of a funny take http://huskersgameday.com/?cat=453
  5. Mike Nolan dressed up on the sideline and he sucked as a coach. He is a football coach (and it seems, at the very least, a competent one). He's not an accountant, professor, or a dentist. He is a football coach! He's only 40 (still a man) which is pretty young. We got a coach that will grow WITH the program. This shirt sums up my feelings: http://huskersgameday.com/?cat=453

  8. Roy is the man. I'm so excited about this team. We are in a great position to be 8-4. All things considered, it's a HUGE improvement over last year. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/11/08/dear-bo-pelini/
  9. This is a great win. It's shows that competence is back in Lincoln! http://huskersgameday.com/2008/11/08/dear-bo-pelini/

  13. Basically, everything you use to feel but haven’t been feeling the past 4 years! rnet this morning and it sums up how i feel I found this around the inteWe could go on and on. I saw a lot of things we haven’t seen in the Huskers in years. I actually got ‘the feeling’ back. You know what I’m talking about. The feeling that the Huskers are putting it all on the line and are playing to win. That you just knew the Huskers were going to drive down for a touch down in the 4th quarter. The feeling that we were outsmarting one of the best coaches in the Big 12. The feeling that we could move the ball at will. The feeling that the coaching staff was a plus. The feeling that the team was improving before our very eyes. The feeling that we could be competitive in the 4th quarter. The feeling that even in defeat, that we can all be proud of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/10/12/cornh...e-feeling-back/
  14. http://huskersgameday.com/ This guy has a pretty good take on the message board nonsense We are rebuilding on top of a failed rebuilding project! This isn’t the amazing Huskers of the 90’s. This is a new Nebraska Cornhuskers team. To paraphrase Rick Pitino, Tommie Frazier isn’t walking through that door.
  15. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/23/bo-pelini-on-osborne/ Pelini said Osborne pops his head into the offices to chat football sometimes. Has NU ever used any of Osborne’s suggestions for plays? “I’m pretty sure we have,” Pelini said. “No. 1: He can say anything he wants to me at anytime. But No. 2: He has a tremendous understanding of the game and how to prepare and what to do. Is he walking down and saying, ‘You have to run this play?’ No, he doesn’t do that. But he’s very respectful and he understands the right way to go about it. He’s very conscious of doing things the right way in every aspect of life. And I think he understands the right way and wrong way to give suggestions.” Pelini said he even sometimes asks Osborne questions about opposing offenses’ blocking schemes. “His input can extend way beyond the offensive side to the defensive side,” Pelini said. “He’s a genius when it comes to the game of football.”
  16. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/23/bo-pe...or-the-huskers/ Nebraska has seen demand for tickets skyrocket since Bo Pelini took over, averaging 84,821 for its first three games — more than 3,000 fans more than the seating capacity of Memorial Stadium. That’s on top of record pay-per-view television purchase numbers for the first three games that earned the Cornhuskers more money than if the game had been broadcast by a conventional television network.
  17. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/22/inter...-virginia-tech/ * Virginia Tech has never played a game in Nebraska. * The Hokies are 16-35 all-time in football games played in the Central Time Zone. * This will be the farthest west, longitundinally, that VT has traveled for a regular season game since they went to Memorial Stadium in Oklahoma back in 1991. * In 2002, Virginia Tech played at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field. However, Nebraska’s Tom Osborne Field sits JUST west of College Station at -96.705639 * Virginia Tech and Nebraska have played just once before, when the #6 Huskers beat the #10 Hokies in the Orange Bowl 41-21 at the end of the 1996 season. * Nebraska is scheduled to play in Blacksburg during the 2009 season. * VA Tech is 3-3 under Frank Beamer against teams currently in the Big 12 Conference. * Virginia Tech plays at the highest elevation of any Division-1 school east of Texas. * Only two Division-1 head coaches have a longer tenure than Frank Beamer (22nd year). Two fellas named Joe Paterno (43rd year) and Bobby Bowden (33rd year). MOST WINS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL SINCE 1995 Ohio State - 133 wins Florida - 130 wins Virgina Tech - 129 wins
  18. Anyone else a fan? http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/22/annou...ed-for-vt-game/
  19. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/22/annou...ed-for-vt-game/ Oh yeahhhhhh
  20. Interesting poll now up on huskersgameday.com Where do you see the Huskers after the next three games? 6-0 - Bring on the Sooners! (0%, 0 Votes) 5-1 - Restoring the Order takes a big step forward 4-2 - Still on track to go bowling...to the Insight Bowl 3-3 - The Huskers aren't as far along as they need to be i think they'll be 5-1. I think the VT game is one they've got to have and I think they can grind out a "W" over TT or Mizzou.
  21. This is a really good site I found: http://huskersgameday.com/
  22. interesting stat I found on HuskersGameday.com Most non-offensive TD’s since 1999: Virginia Tech 68 Kansas State 64 Miami 61 Texas 59
  23. http://huskersgameday.com/2008/09/16/nebra...s-with-wyoming/ Look for NU to announce a long-term series with Wyoming soon, with the first game to be a Cowboys home game set in Denver’s Invesco Stadium.
