Sam Keller doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Zac Taylor. Taylor was a leader, keller is not. Taylor is the better qb not question. period.

Last time I checked, he coaches football at NU. If you consider NU football "loser ball", well you are entitled to your opinion. To think he doesn't want to win makes no sense to me. BEAT KU!! Any coach who gets a lead and in the 3rd quarter starts to try to drain the clock and not score deserves to be criticized heavily and non-stop. I bet you once callahan is gone there will be a lot of secrets that will come to light on why he sucks so damn bad.

think about it? If the offense vastly improves then it makes bc look like an idiot...which we already knew he was but if another team saw that that was interested in hiring him after this season they would think twice. Then every husker fan will be like "why didn't you start Ganz in the first place?" Im just saying i wouldn't put it past callahan to tank the last 3 games so that way he doesn't look as bad and gets another job.

I find that hard to accept he wouldn't run for a first down if nobody was open even if he was taught not to run. Still his TD to INT ratio is not good when you run a system of high percentage short passes.

I mean he seems to be able to run the scout team pretty good lol. Ben Roethlesberger (sp) is not a scrambler. Dan Marino was not a scrambler. Carson Palmer is not a scrambler. Peyton Manning isn't exactly what I'd call a scrambler, and neither is his younger brother. Leftwich, not a scrambler. There are a lot of QB's in the NFL that I wouldn't exactly call scramblers that are pretty successful. Tom Brady doesn't scare any team with his rushing ability either. But all those qb's you mentioned can pick up yards with their feet which i have yet to see from keller. They can move around in the pocket. I have seen all those qb's tuck the ball and run for a first down when no receivers were open. Keller doesn't do that. that is what i mean by scrambling. I wasn't talking about a running qb like Young or Vick.

Vinny Testaverde he can still scramble. while he might not do it as often as he needs to he does run with the ball. Look at his game stats for yourself.

Yeah i am glad that the North teams are a lot better than in past because it makes nebraska better. I know that a lot of hatred of the other teams stems from the big 8 but this is the big 12 and when the north sucks it doesn't make nebraska look any better. when your team has a 9 win season for like 30 years or so and then all of a sudden start having losing seasons they tend to get bitter because they are not used to losing a lot of games. plus with a stupid HC as BC doesn't make things any better. I will never understand how the big 8 teams let 4 texas schools do whatever they wanted when the big 12 formed.

That would be The late, great Brook Berringer. One cannot forget however when Berringer went down with a collapsed lung when Matt Turmun (or is it Turmon) took over against KSU. I have the utmost faith in Joe Ganz. Win or lose he's going to have the team behind him. I have having Keller out for the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone, but in a way it's in our favor to have Ganz starting against Kansas because Kansas doesn't have a lot of game film to look at. GO GET 'EM JOE!! Wrong that would have been Eric Crouch when he took over for Bobby Newcombe. LOL, i hope you are not serious. The only thing Crouch did was get beat bad in big games. Don't say he won the heisman either because that award is cursed. Cursed has nothing to do with it, the Heisman is for the best college player not the best pro prospect. Besides, Crouch has a lot of company when it comes to Heisman winners who don't pan out in the NFL. Um no it doesn't have to do with the best college player because there are very good players on crappy teams who don't even get good recognition. The heisman is a award handed out to a player playing on a NC contender. If your team isn't contending for the NC, you won't win the heisman. Andre Woodson and Darren Mcphadden are two excellent players who won't even be contending cause their teams lost too many games and realistically neither is colt brennan because he plays for hawaii and in the WAC.

Ok, I'm all for Ganz having a great end of the season and leading us to three wins, but if I hear how his mobility is such a strength one more time I am going to throw up. Joe Ganz is more mobile than Keller, but HE IS NOT A RUNNING QUARTERBACK!!! Teams are not going to have to game plan for his mobility. He is not going to add another dimension to our offense. Stop with the talk like he is Crouch, Frazier or even Berringer (who was a VERY good runner). Joe Ganz is not Brook Berringer. While Ganz may not be those players he is a qb that when it is 3rd and 2 and BC calls a pass play he would be able to pick up 2 yards with his feet if recievers aren't open thus extending the series. that right there is worth a lot since with keller it would have been probably a punting situation. I believe even callahan doesn't know how to run the WCO. First of all he runs too many screens. Screens only work when the defensive is blitzing. He runs plays in a row way too much. He will run like 5 runs and then maybe 5 pass plays. He needs to mix it up more. I believe callahan said "we will take what we want." I wonder when that is gonna happen cause it hasn't ever. Not only that he sits on the ball way too early and doesn't bother to score anymore points until he gets behind. callahan wouldn't be a bad coach if he knew any of this and more importantly his DC but appearantly they are just too f'ing clueless on how to win. I heard a comment about coz on tv during the texas game as him saying "we didn't get stupid overnight." Are you sure about that coz, cause i would say he has. Isn't that what Cos is doing now? the first half that is what it looked like but can't say much about second half cause didn't show him enough. plus cally needs to quit calling plays the WHOLE game not just a half. we would have won it if it wasn't for cally.

To Bill: sorry you can't call plays anymore, watson calls all the offensive plays. basically you just stand on the sideline and yell at the refs.
