  1. If I have 5 Dollars and Suh has 5 Dollars I can invest mine in savings bonds and in 7 years I'll have 5 Dollars and 50 cents. Suh can blow his on a footlong subway and in 7 years have 40 million. Rick L.
  2. Ok. Tom hires Solich, and Solich hires Pelini after LSU fires him, and I can finally wake up from this 4 year long nightmare and everything is right where it was when I went to sleep. Wait. How did TO get into the AD office? And where is Gill? And what the hell is MIzzo doing in first place???!!!
  3. Like, everywhere such as, The Callahan. Pikle juice. Rick L.- US American

It's perhaps the biggest cliche' in sports, but we are what we are. -An offence with 3 or 4 big plays per game in its bag, which is not enough to win games week in and week out. -An offensive system that can't gain more than 2 yards in 3 plays, with no hope of a decent 3rd down conversion rate. -A defence that can't tackle. -A defence that consistently is gassed by the middle of the third quarter. No conditioning. Out of shape. -A team that doesn't shoot itself in the foot. We shoot ourselves in the head. Sorry to be a pesimist, but I'm finding very little to be happy or positive about. This hurts.
  5. How far out is our football schedule filled up? In the time that Osborne is here, is there a good chance he will be able to set up some nice non-conference matchups, and how do you suppose his thought process is going when considering who might be coaching those games way out on the horizon? INteresting. Veeeery interesting.... Rick L.
  6. I've been getting the same Server Not Found page, but when I do refreshing has always brought it up. You're mileage may vary... Rick L.
  7. I doubt if too many would want a total one dimensional offensive scheme again. Even with the biggest and best athletes, its still too predictable. If you lose a couple key people to injuries, etc., you lose the whole idea. A much stronger running attack however, would certainly find some support. A spread type offense or multiple option style offense is a more modern choice, and would probably find support given the right athletes. Rick L.
  8. I see this trend playing out more and more recently. Even nationally, there are folks talking about how much it detracts from college football to have Nebraska competing at such a low level. Sure there are those who rellish in the poor performances we're seeing. Always will be those who hate the team and the program. But I hear more people everyday from other programs that know how bad this is and can feel for us. Perhaps its from the respect that Nebraska fans have built over the decades. Maybe in our hour of despare, we will continue to see just how well we as Husker fans are thought of nation wide. Maybe there are others watching to see how we handle ourselves through this time. Something to think about... Rick L.
