  1. Nebraska - 34 Kansas State - 24 Rushing Yards - 126 Passing Yards - 284
  2. Penalties don't necessarily have anything to do with anything. Fewest Penalties Per Game: 76 Texas 88 Utah 95 Oklahoma St. 97 BYU 101 Oklahoma 102 Nebraska 107 Texas Tech 109 Florida 114 Southern California 117 Georgia 119 TCU Would you say that SC, Florida, Oklahoma are all poorly coached teams? Yes penalties hurt and can cause losses (see NU/VT game) But, just because you're being penalized often doesn't mean you are poorly coached and have no chance of winning anything important.
  3. Wouldn't almost every single play we run have come from somewhere else? I find it hard to believe we "invented" anything with as long as the WCO has been around and with as long as football has been around. There's only so many different ways to score or try and stop someone from scoring with 11 players on each side and the set of rules we have.
  4. 3 - 0 2004 Western Illinois 56 - 17 (W) 2006 Kansas 39 - 32 (W) OT 2007 Ball State 41 - 40 (W)
  5. Calling Mr. Buffett, calling Mr. Buffett..... OSU has Pickens, why not? http://deadspin.com/5059457/college-footba...fett-are-boyzzz That's why not.
  6. Don't give out the blackshirts until the defense pitches 14 consecutive shutouts and gets 10 takeaways per offensive giveaway on our way to an NC. Seriously guys, when did black practice jerseys become a magical item? The team is playing together, giving everything they've got, and playing with some intensity. Seems like blackshirts to me, but what do I know.
  7. 8 Home Games 3 Easily Losable Games (Ou, TTech, Mizzou) 2 Winnable Games (VaTech, Kansas) 7 Easily Winnable Games And considering how we played TTech the team this year had the ability to go 10-2 but sadly the best they can do now is 8-4, more than likely 7-5.
  8. ROFL One of the funniest posts I've seen in quite a long time, on any forum. LOL
  9. What's even scarier is those pictures are in the same scale. Anyways, I like the sweatshirt, and I do believe it's what he's always worn, I seem to remember back in 03 him wearing the same shirt. Hmm maybe it's the only husker gear he's got? LOL So many better things to focus on.
  10. Nebraska - 38 Kansas - 35 Rushing Yards - 194 Passing Yards - 277
  11. Lol nope, but it's 4 guaranteed wins and there's no need to break ourselves on out of conference games when we're in one of the toughest conferences anyways. We'll get plenty of tough games against Big XII opponents, no need to add to that.
  12. Western Kentucky San Diego State North Texas Southern Methodist CBSSpots.com 120 bottom 4 teams
  13. My prediction a few weeks ago for this game was 27 - 38 Oklahoma but seeing how their offense has really amped it up and thinking about it some more my prediction is this: Nebraska - 34 Oklahoma - 48 Rushing Yards - 122 Passing Yards - 347
  14. I thought Independence Bowl was for the Big XII #7 not #8 ? And yeah how exactly does CU end up higher than us?
  15. Nebraska - 42 Baylor - 24 Rushing Yards - 142 Passing Yards - 377
  16. Can we please stop calling it the Bill Callahan era and call it the Bill Callahan debacle? Prediction seems about right, but what's with the Must See Ratings? Seems to me our games are always right in the middle of their strange system.
  17. WTF? #50. PURDUE (2-5) THE BUZZ: Any hope for a bowl in Joe Tiller's final season likely depends on winning this week. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Minnesota. So they've lost 2 more games than us, and considering they have to play Minnesota for a decent chance at a bowl, they probably won't even get a bowl game. Yet, they are 1 spot below us? ROFL He's got a winless team at 82nd, 1 spot above K-State. O.o
  18. Sticking with my prediction of 7-5 with losses to OU and CU, but a win over KU.
  19. I posted this in another thread but here we go again. The Big XII North Title is Missouri's to lose, but I really doubt they will lose it. Correct me if I'm wrong but even if we run the table the rest of the way MU would still have to lose 1 more game, and their games left are: 10/25 Colorado 6:30 PM 11/01 @ Baylor TBA 11/08 Kansas State TBA 11/15 @ Iowa State TBA 11/29 No. 23 Kansas TBA All very very winnable games for Missouri unless they really start spiraling downwards (unlikely). Also the odds are we'll lose to at least Oklahoma, meaning Missouri would have to lose 2 of those games.
  20. OU in 2000 NU in 1994 Michigan in 1997 Don't you mean: OU in 2000 NU in 1994 ?
  21. You're right about being Missouri's to lose, but I really doubt they would lose it. 23 Kansas TBA All very very winnable games for Missouri unless they really start spiraling. Also the odds are we'll lose to Oklahoma, meaning Missouri would have to lose 2 of those games.
  22. Give the blackshirts to the offense Really the only reason that we've done that on defense is that they weren't on the field very much, thanks to our offense.
  23. Nebraska 28 Iowa State 17 Rushing Yards - 162 Passing Yards - 226
