Brooke Berringer. I have a friend whose son was seriously sick with cancer. His father called the U and asked if there was anyone who could come visit him at the hospital from the football team .Brooke came over and visited him many times just sitting and talking with him and brought him a jersey and a autographed football. He was a great example of what a husker should be. The young man beat his cancer and misses Brooke to this day.

Sometimes a look back is in order.Remember when they( fair weather fans) wanted T.O. gone? He couldnt beat OU ,couldnt win a bowl game.Then late in his tenure as NU head coach went on a incredible 60-3 run. And a 9 win season doesnt sound so bad anymore does it? Will that happen with Bo? who knows? its a rare blend of chemistry,talent,athletic ability and LUCK.We will get some beatings thats a guarantee but I for one believe that someday we will see a husker team that we will compare to the teams of old.

There has been a email circulating that encourages the wearing of black ( specifically blackshirt t-shirts with da bones on em ) that went around.It popped in my workplace around the 3rd week in August.
