  1. Once again TO will not fire anyone until after the season is over with. Until then, we all have to watch in disgust as this team gets their asses handed to them on a weekly basis! What possible good can come from Cosgrove filling the position for the rest of the season? If TO can't see that maybe he isn't the man for the job. 5 straight losses! Last ranked D in the nation! And who do you suppose would do a better job this year with the coaching staff that we have? Use your head, firing Coz now will not help this Defense! Uh, maybe the Women's golf coach, cause I am not sure there is a point on the scale lower than the one we are at now.

    LOL

It has come to the point where all I can do is laugh out loud. I am as big a Husker fan as anyone, so much so that I used to get so mad I would throw stuff or be PO'd for days after a Nebraska loss. I find as I have matured, it is not worth it. I am still and always will be a Husker fan, but under the current regime Husker football is dead as I have known it. There is no longer any reason to get mad or throw things, it has become very obvious that our coaches are only going through the motions. You can sense it in all things Nebraska Football. I find that all I can do now is laugh at the absurdity of what we have become the last 4 seasons. We are the laughing stock of college football right now, and instead of taking any responsibilty for it our current staff decides to practice "coach speak" instead of practicing coaching. I know this seems like a doomsday post, however, the way I am looking at it is that 4 years ago Nebraska football as most of us remember it, DIED! Next season we will a experience the rebirth of the Huskers as we remember it. TO has to have seen enough. The change will be made, whether it is now or after the season ends, it will be made. The most difficult part for the new coaches will be rebuilding the psyche of the players and the fans. Obviously it will be more important to the players since they actually play the game, but as we have seen this season, the players do feed off of the fans, whether positive or negative. I will keep my head up, I will still cheer my heart out, and I will still wear my Red with pride, because I know the brighter days are ahead. We will return and when we do it will be that much sweeter because of what we are currently going through.
  3. Look at it this way, KU still has a chance at that record.
  4. I think TO should go to the locker room at half and fire him now. This is pitiful
  5. It's too bad about Gray, but if he had come and history held true, he would have been pretty average here under the current regime. There are a lot of players on this current team that were very highly rated and touted as difference makers. Not too many of them have become what we had hoped. It all comes down to coaching and being coached. TO was known for developing players over their career. Not very often did he have top rated recruiting classes, but each and every year there would be 5th year seniors and 4th year juniors making an impact. I recall hearing names on the radio and saying to my brothers, "who was that?" I just don't think today's players are being "coached up" and developed. Granted, today's game is different. It is all about "What can you do for me now?". Players leaving early for the draft etc., all of the top teams have a few true frosh and RF contibuting, and we have a few also. But the top teams also have upper classmen who are leaders and role players. That is what we are missing. When (please let it be when and not if) our new coach comes in, the cupboards will not be bare. There is tons of talent on this team. They will need to be someone who can light a fire under everyones behind. I hope it is Bo, but will support whomever it is. I would be willing to bet that one of the first things they do is try and figure out who the leaders are. Leaders are not developed through words, but rather through actions. I would be willing to bet the new leaders will be Nebraska men who know what it means to be a Cornhusker!!! Where is Brandon Rigoni when you need him.
  6. I can't conform this, but I am hearing that the Circus is PISSED OFF. They are afraid they will negatively affect the quality of the clown recruiting
  7. Texas 41 Nebraska 14 Only because it is in Texas and Mac can clear his bench. Rushing yards - 127 Passing yards - 273
