Are you serious? how am i to blame? did you read my post? can you read? does it sound like im am starting a rumor? i am actually saying that everyone elses rumors are stupid but that doesnt matter, cuz i can see that you are just going to flame and play tommy tough guy.

i understand we all want/need the next head coach to be around for awhile, but what if the next coach turns out like cally did? is nebraska just goin to give the next guy his 4 years and then let him go? because at some point if they dont give the next guy the time he needs, nobody is going to want to coach at nebraska. if that hasnt already happened, since Callahan was the 5th choice anyways.

yeah, im just really sick of hearing it and think its a really stupid idea. i agree having rathman back couldnt hurt. but we dont need frazier back, he imploded a program down there in crete, i understand head coaching and being a position coach are 2 different things, but still. and the rest of the players were great college players and some were even good NFL players, but again...it doesnt make them good coaches. all it would do is help out the walk on program a little bit...maybe....who knows

alot of the rumors and garbage floating around says all these former players are coming back to coach ir. wistrom DL rathman RB wiegert OL fraizer QB Gill OC Brown DB what is everyones input? i personally think it is a very stupid idea to fill the sidlines with former players MOST of whom dont have any coaching expirence...what does everyone else think?

i was impressed...maybe we should throw his name in the talks for the new coach for nebraska we could use such a great motivator

uhm...why should we be talking about head coaches?...dont get me wrong but im as interested as the rest of you are about it, but what goes on in this message board dont matter down in lincoln....so i say we just sit back and watch the team implode th rest of the way, and see what happens as soon as TO decides what he should do

hey i know this may be pointless but... if you go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Callahan_(football_coach) and look at the bottom of the page it says Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Coach 2004-2007 succeeded by TBA but then if you look at a coach who isnt having problems like this such as Frank Solich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Solich it says Ohio football coach 2005- succeeded by Current look for your selfs...i just thought it was kinda odd

How well do the players like watson? is the the kind of coach that if cally would go bye-bye and watson would take over as interim that the players would rally around him and play together and start to care a little bit, because we have alot of talent we just need a spark to light these kids up...could that be watson if all this goes down the way we all hope?

wow, isnt it crazy how much speculating we do about the who the new head coach will be, when there isnt even a position open for a head coaching job yet? i cant wait to see how pumped up we will all get if the job does open up (and i hope to god it does)

so we all think (know) that cally will be gone at the end of the season. and it seems to be the thought from everyone here that Watson will still be here running the offense...but does anyone know what kind of offense he will run? or will that be up to the new HC? because the West Coast offense is crap and as much as i hate to say it i believe the option style offense that we all grew up wiht and love is all but dead. so does anyone know what he will run? or if it will even be up to him?
