YO WHATS UP HUSKER NATION, A few guys And myself have Husker football chat's at work almost daily, and we all Agree that we think this is the year the Huskers will shine. I was wondering how everyone thinks we will line up with USC, because honestly i think they are a bigger threat to us then Texas. I honestly think with our Core of talent on offense, and with Bowman being back on defense we will Beat USC, For a couple of reason's. 1. I understand it is a night game from what I have heard, the Sea of Red is Always juiced up on football Saturday, but night games seem a lot louder for some reason and it is a home game which is big help for US. 2nd USC Doesn't have the Star receivers like they have had the last few years or Running backs for that matter. And 3rd (I am going to step out on a Limb here) with Keller Probably at the Helm I think it opens up A whole new era of the play book that we have not seen yet. I look for our receivers to have a huge day, since i,m sure with Keller's arm strength that we will throw more this year. And I think Our Defense will be a lot more effective this year with the return of Bowman. I am asking for everyone's opinion because a lot of members in my family ( they are bandwagoner's I tell ya) have said that and I quote " WE don't stand a chance against USC They will come in to Lincoln and make us look like a bunch of fools" I have try'd to explain to them that is the First year Of ALL of Coach Callahan's recruits and that we have a lot of excelent players returning. but they Laugh at me Any help from Husker Nation on how i can prove to them the Husker's are the real deal?

From What I have watched this Year ALL of our Backs have had trouble hanging on to the Ball, it is not just one or a few of them All of them had had there moment's.

Not that it is A huge Deal, But It sound's Like LEON JACKSON is Heading to Hawaii next year. He is enrolling at a Junior college for this Next semester, And plans to be with Hawaii for spring ball

WE win this Game IF OUR Reciever's hang on to the ball,we dont fumble, and if we tackle, I watched the Entire OU, OUS game and I honestly do not think their Defense can atch up Aginst our Recievers, Purfiy will be a huge Factor in this game IMO, Our speed at Reciever if we get them int he open Is Tremendius, And trick plays, I would not be Surprised if we pull out all the stops in this Game

I have Been to several games over the last few years, I was at the La, Tech And troy Games this year, the Pitt's game last year, And Kansas the year before that, When I go to these games i always see alot fo tailgaters, And have often wondered how do I go about attending a tailgate party?

I was just kinda curious who everyone thinks our next Heisman Will be. A few of my relatives and myself were talking baout this, And Alot of them think Either Marlon lucky or Mo Purify will be our next any thughts?

I totaly Agree, When We loose I hear at work How bad Nebraska is And How " much B. C Sucks As a coach" But then from the same people when we are winning I hear about how great we are and that B.C has the program going int he Right Direction. IMO U are either a Nebraska Fan that sticks by the team Win, or Loose, or your not a Nebraska fan. Like I tell everyone At work, If so many of the Husker fans think they can coach the team Better then B.C And not have Any screw up's and win every single game by 70 points "which is what it seems alot of husker fans espect every game" Then why the heck are they not out there calling the plays bring the recruits in?

I honestly think the best thing that We got out of this Game is Confidence, After All Texas Is the defending National Champion's And Had Nunn not fumbled we would Have won, IMO A hug Boost in Confidence.

Ok Maybe I missed it But I have not seen anyone else point this out yet. USC from What I know is playing a Quarter back that last year was a Redshirt. I will admit he looked like he knew what he was doing on the field aginst Arkansas. HOWEVER How will he react when The NU defense throws his timing off by putting him under pressure. I have noticed that Nebraska Has been good at puting the opposing teams QB under pressure. I honestly think If our Defense can get in there and Harass him I think we could possibly cause some fumbles and pull off the upset
