I have honestly seen high school coaches do a better job with there DB's. I was wondering if someone was going to draw a face on the back of our helmets so to trick the ref into thinking we were actually looking back for the ball..just terrible. Really the down fall of the callahan era can be blamed on these two.

Not big on piling on a guy that just got fired. I think there some positive Bill did here He did not "Switizer" us like Barry did to OU with NCAA, think how bad that would be He graduated alot of players and kept that tradition in order He left the cupboard stocked up better then the coach he replaced He has yet to my knowledge said one discouraging word about Nebraska since his dismissal He was a turd in a punch bowl in NU but he did stick by his guns and never varied from the way he wanted the program to run...the wrong way granted..but I think you have to respect his conviction to his ideals. What wil end up with BC...I think he will take a yer off and end up in the NFL where it suits his style of "coaching". He can add to his 20lb. playbook there where players don't need to be coached and fundamentals are not needed to be taught

Hopng this will start a Dr. Tom thread not unlike the Chuck Norris Jokes example old joke: Chuck Norris has two speeds...walk and kill Dr Tom modified joke: Ellen Degeneres is actually Chuck Norris...It was the only thing left of him after Chuck tried to stop Dr. Tom from chewing gum. I am sure there are some creative writing geniuses in here that can come up with some better ones then this. Game on!!!

Yea, that's a good idea. You do realize he just started coaching HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL right? You are just a beacon of sunshine in every post you make! Brighten my day every time! I can never and will never understand why some people think former players will automatically be OMG TEH BEST COACH EVER1!! That idea by itself is just plain dumb IMO. That being said there are MANY MANY good coaches the were former players. The idea that players can not be good coaches is also "just plain dumb" Read my post again. Player as coaches based ONLY on the fact that they were players is dumb. Read the post plenty and still don't agree. My point is many good coaches were former players that ONLY got there start from the fact they were successful players. They ONLY got there foot in the door from the succes on the feild and the leadership they showed there. If they would of showed up without there feild experiece they would been laughed out the door. See Josh Heupal, Ken Norton Jr. Major Applewhiite, Jim Harbaugh....the list can go on for a while.
