Ok so Pelini was interviewed first right.....don't you usually interview your number 1 choice right off the bat? But now theres this meeting coming tomorrow afternoon for the players and the 2007 seniors. Uhhh something sounds fishy here.

No offense to you but how the hell does this guy know if either of these guys have even been contacted? At this point in time all these reporters are doing is speculating. It's their job to do so. Besides today is only the first day of the work week. I have a feeling TO isn't done with his interviews on Day 1. If Paul Johnson doesn't get interviewed i would be very surprised. Honestly I think that he's probably the best pick outta Bo Pelini and Turner Gill. He has more experience and he can win wherever he goes.

WOW I don't understand all of this hate toward Bo Pelini.

Since these coaches are getting interviewed by TO why wouldn't he just have all of the interviews in Lincoln. I know that he wants these interviews to be in a secret location but wouldn't these coaches like to see what the campus, weight room, practice field, etc is like so that way they can get an idea on what they are getting into. If I was in these guys position and I was being offered a Head Coaching job I would like to see what the town in like, schools for my kids, special events, the school, weight room, practice field, weather, etc. I know that Turner Gill and Bo Pelini have an idea what Nebraska is like in all of these fields but coaches like Jim Grobe and Paul Johnson to name a few don't know what it's like in this area. I'm sure that TO will give them a grasp of what it's like and stuff but it would be better for them to see if for themselves. What do you guys think? Nebraska Loves TO and GO BIG RED

Well a defense is bound to get scored on when they are out there longer than the offense is. The LSU offense hasn't helped out their defense these past few weeks. So it's not all Bo's fault

LMFAO! I am being dead serious. If anybody knew me as a person and my LOVE FOR HUSKER FOOTBALL you would believe me too. I'm not the type of person to make this sh*t up. I hear it from a very reliable source and i believe this person 110%. I'm not that type of person who's going to float around a rumor if i didn't believe it myself.....i don't get it when other people make up random bullsh*t and get off on it. Yesterday your buddy the state trooper or security guard saw Pelini at the airport wearing a Husker hat or something like that. Wow i didn't say airport but he saw him at Lincoln wearing a Husker hat. And to actually clarify on that he saw Bo last week not this week, i missed understood him (I'm deaf in my left ear). Hey if i'm wrong i'll actually come out and be man about it and i'll admit it. I won't be like IBR and hide in the closet or something i'll reply to my own post and apoligize to you guys. I'm not here to start bullsh*t rumors but if i hear something from a source that I know for a fact that wouldn't make this stuff up than i'll post it onto this site. I'm hear like everybody else trying to get some new information and I check up on this stuff on an hour basis. I love Husker football and it's my passion. Like I said i'll be a man about being wrong and i'll address you guys about it. I'll take full responsibility for my actions.

Yeah huskerjock is right, Paul Johnson only runs the option at Navy because of the lack of talent. If he came to NU he would probably run the spread like he did at Hawaii. Hey thanks huskers13. In the past 4-5 weeks I've been reading a lot about this guy and the more I read on him the more I want him. He'll be a great fit in this program and I try to tell my family about this guy but they have their other choices. If he is our next HC, it'll be interesting so see what type of offense that he'll run and if he'll hire a different DC.

Ummm did you know that Paul Johnson designs his offense around his players and at Hawaii as their OC they were more of a passing team and as HC at Navy they had players who were more about the run.

That Bo Pelini's wife and kids still live in Lincoln. I was just in Columbus, NE for my g/f's families thanksgiving and her aunt use to work for the University of Lincoln as part of the Athletic Department and she told me that she just chuckels about hearing all of these Bo sitings in Lincoln. I asked her is it because of all of the stupid rumors and stuff and she told me no, it's because Bo's wife and kids still live in Lincoln and their kids attend school in Lincoln. Has anybody else heard this??? I believe her 110% because she showed me her national championship ring that she got for being part of the athletic department and she showed me the 1988 Nebraska Defensive playbook that she got from John Melton. I told my family this news right away Saturday night and they were shocked but they could believe it because Bo's wife said that she didn't like it at Baton Rouge and that she liked living in Lincoln. Anybody hear this at all???

WOW for one thing Paul Johnson was NEVER in Bo Pelini's postion five years ago and another thing why I haven't be talking much about Paul is because all of this Airplane/interview with Bo Pelini that came up today and Paul Johnson hasn't be contacted about the coaching postion which is really really weird. Paul Johnson lead Georgia Southern to two National Championships in Division 1-AA and now he's at Navy and what they went 2-10 his first year but after that have exploded to 8 or more wins. And he's coaching at NAVY. My vote is Paul Johnson way over Turner Gill any day. Turner Gill was a great player and all but he needs more experience at HC before coming to Nebraska. Paul Johnson has more experience at HC and this is his 6th season at Navy and he's now 43-29 at Navy and 105-39 overall. I don't want to sound like a prick but all of these negative talk on Bo Pelini you people need to open your eyes....this guy will bring us 9-10 wins per season and probably a National Championship. And his Defense may be in the slumps right now but LSU's offense isn't helping any and aren't they still winning games????? I'd rather be 10-2 than 5-7 any day.

When I mean that TO will blow him off, I meant by saying if Bo didn't get the job. Hell the first time I met TO was at a Valentino's Pizza in South Sioux City, NE. He was in town for a speech at Morningside College and when i was still in high school, our football team on Wednesdays would gather after practice to Valentino's for pizza. Well my twin brother, my buddy Joe, and I were running late and by the time we go there everybody was leaving. Well we decided to stay and all of a sudden here walks in this tall guy and he had got my attention because of his height. Well anyways I noticed that it was TO and i about flew off of my chair backwards. I walked up to his table and got his autographed and asked him what it was like to coach Joel Makovicka. He was really polite and we stopped talking to him so he could finish his meal. Nobody at my school believed me until I brought in his autograph to school the next day. But I just hope that they don't screw Bo like they did four years ago. You have to admit that it talks balls and DETERMINATION to come back for another interview. You have to admire Bo for that. We want BO!!!

Ok everybody knows that Bo Pelini will have an interview tomorrow with TO and that a private plane was flown to Baton Rouge. Well this will only mean that Bo Pelini will have an interview for the HC job and if he doesn't get it, that'll be another slap in the face. The first time when Pud barely gave him an interview and now this time if TO decides to blow him off. I think that will be very f*cked up and I hope that Bo Pelini gets the job. It would be nice for Turner Gill to get OC but I highly doubt that.

Bo Pelini was in Lincoln today November 24th wearing a Nebraska Hat. Believe me or not this is coming from my buddy lives in Omaha who is a Correctional Officer and he was in Lincoln for the holiday for family. Well he stopped by Memorial Stadium because of what happened today and called me to tell me that he saw Bo Pelini wearing a Husker hat. Go ahead and make fun of me, but i wouldn't have posted this if I didn't think that it wasn't true. I told him that i needed pictures to confirm this and he told me that he didn't have one with him. I believe my friend 110% and he would never make this up for he two is a die-hard Nebraska fan and he's not even rooting for Bo Pelini as Head Coach. I understand you are a Pelini guy, I like him too, but what do you mean you will not support Turner Gill? If he comes here and wins I bet you will support him. If he wins than I guess that I'll just have to eat my words but I still don't think that he'll be the guy to bring us back. He'll have a losing season the first year and might do a little bit better and than he'll be more of a grade scale where he'll do good one year and do bad the next. But thats just my opinion.

The team series are close and are always a good game to watch. Nebraska doesn't have that hatred toward CU where CU feels differently in this area. Turner Gill isn't the right choice. If Turner Gill is the Guy I will still be a Husker Fan 4 Life but I will not support Turner Gill, he needs more experience and needs to find a better Defensive Coordinator period.
