i know John and he's a good, honest man..he struggled with breaking that news on Huskerpedia when he did...he's still holding true that his source is solid and that things will happen, as we all know contracts and hangups can happen at anytime when there are negotiations going on..especially with a d**k like Cally.

Injuries have taken it's toll on Glenn. i was on campus visiting a friend last week and i ran into him on one of the floors i was walking on...that kid has a TON of bumps and bruises..no wonder his knee/toe/foot is or has been hurting...i asked him how he was doing and he goes "Oh, i'm hangin in there"...so i told him to "get better man, we're all hoping u do"..so he smiled and said thanks and went on his way You should have turned around and tackled him and and say thats how a blackshirt should tackle or clotheslined him and made him tap out...then say "Send THAT message to Cally and Coz!"

I totally agree. this is a huge class. if we can keep them all, talent will not be a problem at all We won't keep them all. Even if we'd had a good season and none of the upheaval had occurred, there'd still be decommits. sure... but if we could keep the bulk of the class.... say everyone but gabbert and another, but kept everyone else and picked up robinson(I dont know why, but I feel we have a better shot at him now then before) then I would be thrilled i'm on the same page as you here...i think w/ T.O. back in charge, it'll push some recruits over the edge to come to NU...i actually think that Gabbert is more of a solid commit now that T.O. has taken over.

but it seems odd that he's playing someone with no gametime experience when he's sittin in the kitchen with his butt straight on the burner nowdays..why not play someone like Castille so that you dont burn a redshirt, and have him develop a little more and gain some more confidence!..UGH!

to be honest i am interested in seeing what he can do.......a lot of those small backs have been doing very good lately, so who knows. i do agree that it seems odd to burn a redshirt with 5 games left, but not much has made sense this year. do you think that maybe Cally is mad that he will be gone and/or is leaving in some way, shape or form and will try and make the team spin out of control until he is gone? i say that because A)he would definitely be fired and get his buyout B)i'm sure with his tradition-hating ways, and all the negative things said about him, he would love some type of vengance yeah i agree, but at the same time i am interested and intrigued. someone should have their 85 yr. old grandma run up to good ol' Cally and give him a HUGE WET SLOBBERING kiss right on the lips sayin, thanks for killin my team, then wrap him in a 1995 National Championship blanket, mixed with pictures of Steve pederson and Al Davis...and on the other side a picture of a big ol' middle finger!

Was a sarcastic joke since the OP was trying to imply that Bo Pelini was rumored to fly in to talk to TO. i know, my response was sarcastic too...but the "rumor" that i had heard was not..i'm trying to find out the pilot's phone number to call and verify the info.

..dont light me up and set me blazin for this(and yes, i know this like my 2nd post, but my best friends has a relative of the Universities' private jet and said that he called him saying "guess who i just flew into town from Louisiana"..and hung up the phone..now, dont shoot me if the "rumor" doesnt turn up to be true, but he's a fairly down to earth guy who I trust quite a bit.

so wait, i'm confused...McBride would come in w/ the other former coach...but we would fire 4 of them?..who else would come in?..something just doesnt add up. i'm not critisizing or flaming, i'm just trying to clarify things for people.
