  1. Guy played out of position this year. Get him back to his regular position and he can put up his normal numbers. R-E-L-A-X

And if any of these rumors are true....piss on them guys. Get busy leaving, we have plenty of guys on the team now and coming in that want to play here.

  2. No matter what side you're on, i think we can all agree on one thing.....Tommie is a total tool. Ive met him 3-4 times now. First time i went up to him, he wasnt busy or talking to anyone, and just held out my hand and wanted to say nice to meet you. Didnt want a picture or autograph or anything from him, and he acted like i wasnt even there. The next couple times i thought maybe he was just having a bad day or something, but more of the same. I bet if i told him i would like to pay him to be in a commercial, or something that would benefit him, he would have been much more willing to acknowledge me. Its all about Tommie. Ive met many other huskers like Mike Brown, Michael Booker, Jason Peter, Damon Benning, etc, etc just like many of you, and they have all been very nice. Hes literally the only that hasnt, and its been on multiple occasions.

  3. Matt Farniok will move to guard, Benhart will be at right tackle, Jaimes will have to prove himself to keep his job, Jurgens will be in his second year at center, and have Piper, Bando, and other young pups pushing for PT. But honestly, the Oline was probably the most improved part of the team from beginning to end of year. But they can be much better, and the big young guys will have something to say about it.

I believe you have that confused with Hodge. Everything I have read on Aho says he will be here in the summer.

No, just going by what Callahan said on Big Red Wrap up. He was saying how crazy it was that Nebraska was getting 2 jucos , both 4 to play 3, and both early enrollees.

This could be a Miami/Nebraska battle here.   He has been to 4 of Miami's home games this year but they are slow playing him right now because they have guys higher on their board.

Ran a laser 4.51 at a camp this summer.

How can you slow play a guy like this when you arent very good. Its crazy. How many higher guys can they have on their board.

What a saga that was and what a heartbreaker. I mean... of course if I were there I probably would know a bit more.

Nice to see ya back. Missed ya here in recruiting forum

I had breakfast (free for Vets at HyVee this morning) with two old boys.  One was claiming to be friends with a lot of the teammates of the Championship teams of the 90s.  He said most of them have a lingering dislike for Scott due to his trip to Stanford.  But he said every one of them is 100% convinced that Scott's hard nosed methods and determination are exactly what this program needs.  He also said that those ex teammates are at practice often, and feel that the crew in redshirts this year could kick the butts of the starters this year.  They think Scott is trying to build depth in the long haul, not immediate, shallow results.

Hope those boys know what they are talking about.  I'd like to believe that is the case, and for the next two to four years, I will believe that.

I could have told the same story without all the "im friends with guys from the 90s" stuff. Its no secret SF is playing the long game or he would have been sticking young guys in throughout the year. Its a rebuild, and thats just the way it is. The last 20 years has devastated this program. It is gonna have to be a total rebuild. I dont think SF thought it was gonna be this bad, but i think he sees what its gonna take now

TO never gave up play calling duties. He called the plays for every game he ever coached. Stop making up things that didn’t happen.

Leave a drunk guy alone with his somehow idiotic statement. Not sure why i said that. Pretty obvious TO called the plays until he retired.

  9. I do think Scott could be much more energetic. I think hes trying way too hard to be like TO. Be yourself, be passionate, your players will follow.

Also more importantly, i beleive if he was more a CEO, like Saban, Day, Dantonio, Orgeron, Chryst, Dabo, etc he would be much more successful. He could focus on the "team" instead of offense and calling plays. He should learn from TO, be the final decision on calls, but not the guy calling the plays. TO started as OC/CEO but eventually gave OC duties up, which led them to the 90s domination. Frost has to give up the OC ego for our success.Be the CEO, the punisher and booster for all 3 aspects of the team(offense, defense, sts). Thats the only way this will work.

Kind of an odd situation here.  Four-star on Rivals but much lower on 247.  Word is we are still working here and are in a good spot.

Took a lot of visits last year and over the summer but doesn't seem to have taken any visits this year.  Perhaps he's been busy but that's also something that tends to happen with academic risks.

Rivals - been to camps and given them $$

    +

247 - hasnt been to camps, no $$

    =

Rivals ranking higher, probly little too high

247 ranking lowet, probly little too low

So, most likely true ranking somewhere in between

I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking he has to change up some things.  I’d be more than happy to send him an email if you can get me in touch with him.....and again,  I THINK FROST IS THE RIGHT HIRE.  THE RIGHT GUY FOR THE JOB, but I’m not blindly following him thinking that he is 100% correct in all that he’s done.  He’s a grown man making millions, he is culpable in what’s happening....

    I should listen to @PaulCrewe.......

Just what he needs, another loonie trying to email him. Of course he needs to change things, but for crying out loud, give it some time. This place has been constantly broke for over 15 years, so its gonna take more than 2 years to fix. So many high and mighty cry baby husker fans. You all should find a better team to root for, and leave the rest of us sorry sacks.

Assuming he commits in 30 minutes this will jump our class ranking from 40th to 33rd.

I have seen some knocks on his speed. But he has an offer from Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn.

I watched his film. Dude has a great burst and is a vicious tackler. I really didnt think he looked very slow, at least not in a 10-20 yard distance. Looks good.
