The guy is toast. He has zero insight into NU, he came here because he needed a job, he was unemployed, he was pedeys fourth choice ! He came here for millions($) of reasons ,nothing more, it was a payday! He lacks passion, emotion, fire,leadership. He and weiss from ND are the laughingstock of college football, two pro coaches lost in the college game. Callhan is a fraud.

Good Im glad he's gone. Terrible play by play guy. I think he was forced out, he exposed himself in the omaha city weekly article, he was bought and paid for by the husker sports network, he was a mouthpiece for whatever line they want him to spew, a schill, a fake and phony, no independent analysis, his head was so far up the Pedey/Cally ass monster, he lost all credibility.

J-Rose is a lousy announcer. I had friends who would actually would keep track of his mistakes on air as they watched on tv, he screws up regularly, first downs,yardage,yards gained,down,etc. He was a pederson guy, he still has pedey-shine all over his nose , was never critical of play( untill 2 games ago) on radio or the BC show, he is nothing more than a mouthpiece for what Pedey wanted him to say. Will he change ? Doubtful. Pedey ran off all the good announcers, Kugler,Sharp,Lee. Fire Callhan, Rose can help him pack and go to!!!!

I think the decision needs to be made public ASAP. Even if Cally stays through the end of the season, if its announced now that he will not be back next year, it will help speed up the whole process of hiring new coaches, recruiting, etc. Everyone is in limbo now, the unknown is hurting the program now. Every day Callahan muddys the water even more with his comments, about not resigning, not getting promises, burning redshirts, losing recruits. It could get really ugly around here with him looking at a 7 game losing streak. To. said he would wait till season end to evaluate, but also said he would not leave someone "hanging", he would tell them, I only hpoe he tells BC his time is over soon.

I agree. Why wait ? Make his resignation public now, so wheels can begin to turn, on a new coach,staff, and recruits.

Whats up with mac and the bones ? who does he think he is kidding ? he has one decent game (he's only on the field because everyone else is hurt) and he acts like he saved the day. Im all for emotion but where was it the last three games when he was pushing people out of bounds, instead of tackling. This defense should not be mentioned in the same breath as the real blackshirts who started the "bones" !

The double nickel is the poster boy for NU football passion as it should be, i get fired up just listening to him on "the spread" radio show daily
