Boy, we have never had this problem before. Too many good QB's. Who to play??Who to play??? This is a good problem to have.

He might need to work on getting the ball there a bit quicker, but you don't want the guy heaving the ball so fast he can't control it. True! True! It is about placement, not velocity.

We will miss Herian, but J.B. Phillips was the most improved player this year and may step right in.

Apparently from what I've read Taylor needs to work on his velocity. He doesn't seem to have a cannon and that was evident on a couple of the out patterns he floated to receivers. Beck has a very strong arm and this will not be something he will need to work on. Did Joe Montana have a rocket arm, no. You do not need a rocket arm to be a great QB. It helps, but the #1 thing is to get the ball where only the receiver can catch it, which Zach did superbly in the spring game.

I agree the O-line will be crucial as it always is. Hardy is taylors favorite target from JUCO and Brooks is suspose to be a man-child. I think these two will step right in a nd play. They are to fast and too good to be sitting on the bench.

I think the receivers looked good, but Zach made them look good. Just think what the receiver recruits will look like. I am optimistic, and I think a 8-3, 9-2 season is entirely within reason. We are no where near a championship team, but with a little more depth and practice, we could be in a few years.

The game was awesome. As for fair weather fans, they do not have to come back as far as I am concerned. We are headed in the right direction and if they do not want to come along for the ride, up and down, let them watch Ohio football.

I think that is a good idea because that will make Harrison play harder if he thinks he might go in. I would hate to burn his redshirt late in the year though. It would have to depend on our record and the situation.

Daily is not a dissention in the program. It was just clear writing on the wall. I have not heard anything but good comments from the recruits about the treatment from the coaching staff. Why can't we just see the writing on the wall like the players see. it. Was Joe ever going to play this year? NO. So why wouldnt he leave. He is not made to run this offense. It is a bad situation and I wish him the best, but you saw the spring game. Joe sucked. He ran the ball like he was in the option again. That is not what you do in the WCO. Joe is just another victim of changing offenses and I wish him the best. He got a fair shake. He had a whole season and a spring practice to improve and he did not do it. The media is harsh, but it always has been to the starting QB of nebraska. HIS ATTITUDE WAS TERRIABLE IN THE SPRING GAME TOO. DID YOU SEE HIM THROW THE BALL AT HIS DEFENSIVE TEAMMATE. WHAT A STUPID MOVE. HIS ATTITUDE WOULD HAVE BEEN A CANCER TO THE TEAM IF HE WOULD HAVE STAYED. IN THAT RESPECT I AM GLAD HE IS GONE.

I think that if Taylor is the clear number 1 and looks good, unless Beck walks in a totally wows everyone, he will redshirt. Let the bettle begin next year.

Your right I do hate callahan and the west coast offense. I'm a smash mouth type fan. I don't believe in the pu&&y short pass motion stuff and the sliding and the running out of bounds. Thats just me. Move to Ohio HA. Ha. Ha. Good One!!!!! OHIO would be a great place for that.
