  1. If that is the case then lucky will be transferring.
  2. I just can't see him getting much to any pt. Unless he can beat out glenn, lucky, or wilson? Also he'll have to beat out b jackson. People can say he could play some wr to but its not like we have flukes there. I just don't see him getting much pt.
  3. Some think 8 wins is just great. You never know what will happen with injuries and stuff but I would be suprised if we didn't lose 4 games. I don't think our coaches are good enough not to.
  4. Did you notice at the bottom of that page it says he played in the Defensive Backfield, Outside Linebacker and Running Back? It said he could play any of those in college. Also Scout had him as a LB but said he was projected as a LB or Safety. Alls I'm saying is he isn't no converted safety. If thats the case then Carriker is a converted qb because he played that in high school.
  5. Your going to be happy with 8-4?????? So after 3 years we still haven't got as many wins or as few losses as the staff that got fired at 10-3. After this year we lose quite a bit, especially losing a qb and not having another one with any experience. IF we lose more then 3 games it was a terrible year imo. That's a valid point. I would like to see a 10 win year this year. At the very least Big 12 champ game, like in past years, that's attainable without 10 wins. Agreed. With that said, I would be shocked if we beat either USC or Texas and I'm sure we will lose a couple more.

  7. Exactly! That was my point really, to give props to how quick he is for his size, rather than start the 40 time debate again. I think that is . If Carriker is getting stronger and he can keep up with a safety converted to play middle linebacker, then I think Carriker is gonna wreck some sh#t this season! Since when was Mckeon a safety? Outside linebacker possibly? Safety? I'm pretty sure he played safety in high school and came to Nebraska as a Safety/OLB prospect. link Well if he did play it in high school he sure wasn't ranked as one coming out of it. He was recruited to play linebacker.
  8. Ahhh, there confident every year. I'll wait till the year starts. This article is replayed every year. agreed.

  10. Stoops had plenty of success as a DC before he became a Head Coach. UV's offense wasn't any good under Prince and KSU, FU had pretty darn good defenses under Stoops. So if you ask me Stoops doesn't fit your example. His virginia team averaged pts then we did last year and more yards and didn't have near the defense we had.
  11. I'm guessing ksu is going to be really good in a couple years in both football and basketball. Yeah cause princess has proven how great of a coach he is You don't have to be proven to know they are going to be a good coach. I use Bob stoops and Leach as examples. And what exactly has Mike Leach won? Yeah, exactly. He's got NEbraska in his back pocket.
  12. I will be suprised if he is ever the same guy. Sure hope he is. I had the privelage to play against him in High School. Great player.
  13. Hopefully the coaches aren't pulling all the time this year. Let him get 20 sacks.

  16. I agree it is ridiculous for him not to be wearing husker red. At first he hardly ever wore it and now sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't.
  17. Glenn should win it pretty easy. Lucky should concentrate on returning kick offs.
  18. I think he will do well there. I wouldn't be suprised after 2 years if he isn't kept on full time. It doesn't bother me a bit they got him, I'm excited for him. He can't stand the new coaches anyways. It is really no different then us getting CU's Watson and Gilmore. It is part of the coaching business.
  19. I look for something along the lines of 25 touchdowns and 8 INT's Could be but he got lucky last year not to have about 15 picks. Several were right in the hands of opposing teams defenders and dropped.
  20. Like i've said I have no problem with moving guys but find one for them and let them perfect it. I don't think moore has stayed at a spot for longer then a few weeks.
  21. Every other week. You crack me up. These kids talk like they will do whatever they can to get on the field and help the team. That's what you haven't really seen in most of the last two years. I'll give you that moving from one side of the ball to the other can be quite the change, however most changes have kept kids on one side of the ball. Besides, it's not like these kids have only played one position ever. It's not that hard to believe that a lot of these players might just have an idea how to play multiple positions. Sure they don't know all the details the first day out, but hey, this isn't rocket science It's football. But yea, it's not going to matter. It'll just rain anyway. Like I said, I have no problem with a move or two by a few players but for some of the guys like Dontrelle Moore and Leon Jackson it is about ridiculous. I think moore has been moved to every linebacker position and dend about 10 times each. Jackson has played running back, safety positions, wr, running back again.
  22. We are going to have 4 good dtackles, that is plenty of depth. He isn't going to see no action being 3rd string I doubt. I would of left him at the oline. WE might have depth at the oline but I don't know if any of them are real good by any means.
  23. YEah, he'll be about 4th or 5th string. I feel bad for some guys that get moved around every other week. I think that is dumb. I can see moving a few guys around once or whatever but guys like moore and jackson have been moved back and forth probably 5 times now. Put them at a postition and leave them there already.
  24. What makes you say that? A highly recruited star behind of a bunch of young backs at 4th string? There was rumors earlier last year that he was going to leave. Lucky was going to leave and Leaon talked him out of it. God this board was going great until. Their ban was lifted??? Never was banned to my knowledge. Sounds Like Glenn looked good today in practice.
  25. I said he was a good back aswell. The fact of the matter is we have had had some good backs here at nebraska. I just whipped off 10-12 off the top of my head. I'm guessing there are a few others that could go ahead of him aswell. I put him in the buckhalter/alexander range. Good backs but not top 10 here at nu. As far as line goes, Ross didn't have near as good as some did. You could also argue that he had a balanced attack and teams couldn't key on him like the one dimensional running attack. Cory was a very good back. He has a chance to make the pros and do something but don't think he will amount to a lot in the pros.
