I'm guessing by "all fans" you mean fans that are used to it, right? No, I would say "all fans". Even Duke football fans. And yes when you get used to it, it make it harder to accept losing. Maybe I am disillusioned but why would you be a fan of team that didn't want to win?

I don't know where to start. The fact of the matter is every football team should play to "win". All fans expect to "win". Teams that consistently go 5-6, 8-4, 9-5, 5-7 don't have 90,000+ fans at every home game and 10,000+ at away games. Isn't that why they pick Nebraska? I am sure Mo didn't think that way on his visit and did the tunnel walk for him and his name in locker room. I am sure every major, traditional program has the must "win" attitude. As far as his comments....these guys feel how they feel, but I bet we find a couple of thousand former Huskers that say they loved the feeling at Nebraska.

I agree. Plan your own trip with others that you know. That makes it the "time of your life" until the next bowl. I also tend to spend my money at the bars. Most of my favorite memories are from the the bowl games (and non-confrence road games). If you haven't gone, plan on going next year, Big Red typically takes over the city.

I agree but I have to be optimistic. I think pitching is going to tell the tale. Hopefully Dorn pitches well as usual, Jennings started to pitch well, and maybe Foust or Shirek (oh wait they got drafted).

Well, now that the football drama is settling down I am turning my passion to the baseball team (as we get freezing rain in KC, MO). Just thought this might get some chatter going. Haven't picked my trips yet but I believe I will going to @ K-State game and @ Missouri game. GBR!!!

I like that statement. I can't see him making it, unless he returns to So. & Jr. year form. I think that he gave up after the USC game but "with the tough spring and summer" maybe he gave up then. With that I would love to see him make a NFL squad just to show that we did have talent. Hey! Corey NEVER gave up!
