Linebacker from Syracuse, already knows Tony White's system. Two years left.

I mean in Mazzcua's case, I'm pretty sure it was his brother who did the recruiting.

I’ve been as frustrated and unimpressed with this offense as anybody but I find it a little surprising that so many seem to be on the fire Satt wagon.
You must be new around here. Welcome to HuskerBoard!

Meanwhile Purdue's social media team has apparently decided to take the rest of the night off, they still haven't posted the final score.

OK, I wasn't watching but just decided to check the score. Dafuq is happening, we're up by 11?!

Nebraska scored as many touchdowns against Michigan as Washington did.

Looks like tomorrow will probably be the last game for the Steelers, unless they manage to sneak into the playoffs. Rhule will be at the AFCA convention from the 7th through 10th, where he's a featured speaker this year. If the rumors about Glenn Thomas are true, maybe we'll hear something late next week?
The Jacksonville Jaguars made the decision to not be winners today, so Pittsburgh's season will continue a bit longer.

Decided to poke around some Oregon boards to see what their take on Dowdell was. Everybody seemed to agree that he's solid, but their RB room is just really stacked at the moment.

What can an analyst do or not do?
sideslines?
headset?
sit in booth?
recruit?
attend practice?
They've talked about expanding the things that an analyst can do, but as of now they can't really have much direct interaction with the players.

If you're going to bring him in, I just don't see how it would make sense as an analyst, unless that's all he wants.
That's not uncommon for ex-HCs. They're still getting paid big bucks by their old schools, and Holgorsen had just been given a new contract before this season so he's set for years. And being an analyst is a hell of a lot less of a grind than HC is.

As a analyst or QB/Co-OC position?
If we bring in both Thomas and Holgorsen, I could see Rhule doing something like Bo did and give guys Assistant/Associate Head Coach titles.

Has there been anymore rumors on Barthel or Martin moving on?
Nothing new, but at this point I think we can safely say that Rhule is looking to bring in at least one more offense coach, so at least one of them would have to be bumped.

Sounds like we're pretty confident with Banks. Dowdell a little less so, but things are going well so far.

Just based on this year's wins and losses, a C+ is much too generous. This season was a failure, and a huge missed opportunity. The schedule was easier than any year of the Frost era. I mean this was by far the worst year for the Big Ten as a whole since we joined - every team not named Meatchicken, Ohio State, or Penn State was dogs#!t. They had the perfect conditions to at least get back to a bowl game, and they blew it.
But with that said, by far the biggest reason for this year's under-performance, and the biggest black mark on Rhule's record as Husker HC, was Jeff Sims. I'm still not quite sure what the hell went so wrong there. If he even just looks as good as he did at Georgia Tech, our results this year would probably have been very different. Was it something the coaches did? I mean he couldn't even field a clean snap reliably, or remember which way a hand-off was supposed to go. I don't think that level of failure can really be explained by coaching. I guess all I can do is speculate that he got the yips and move on.
Other than that, Rhule's moves have been pretty solid, with some bright spots like the defense. Sims is gone, and I doubt things will look as scary at QB next year. I think as of right now, I'd have to give Rhule an 'incomplete' grade. Needs to finish the job!- 1

Didn't know Lincoln Riley was such a ground game expert.

247 bumped Banks up to 4* as a transfer.
