I can't believe that gang-rape story in Panama City, FL. Who would stand around and watch that happen without intervening? What the hell has this country become?

  A country where many of the people, especially the younger set, would rather take video of even a serious crime hoping to become famous for 15 mins rather intervene to help a person in distress.

  It gets into mob mentalities and large group dynamics. You would be shocked how many people are content to observe something heinous in a setting like that. Really doesnt help that that generation is rather lacking in spine either.
