NIce stat gathering sadly your looking at the wrong team. Pelini leaves and Nebraskas Defense goes to compleate and total crap... If you by some strange reason like Cosgrove and Callahan then you must like to loose because that is all that they seem to know how to do.. But they at least loose well..

I have a hard time putting anything on the players when they were 10-3 less than a year ago, Callahan and Cosgrove come in and presto working on a loosing season.. Dailey use to be able to run with the ball, now he looks like a girl running the ball afraid to take a hit, and on D eye yie eye what happened to the D, its almost as if we have all true fresh playing last year this was a D to be feared this year any QB's mouth begins to water at the thought of playing Nebraska and there invisable Defense

Callahans WCO didnt work in the pros with the best of the best talent, what makes u think that the WCO will work with the talent NEbraska has, they have alot of players that will go pro but Callahans WCO is a waste of time.... I know im going ot hear wait till he gets his reqruits in, honestly I dont think it will matter all that much and if it does, your looking at having one good season every 4 years... What ever happened to the Nebraska motto we dont rebuild we reload?

I dont mind putting this on the coaches, it is the job of a coach to make sure his team is ready to play every week, this hasnt happened all year... The only game that came close to looking ok was the mizu game... Callahan looks like he is lost when he is on the side line, on the other side of the ball COsgrove doesnt even know how many players he needs on the field... This should have been the most important game, it would have put Neb in a bowl game but with this loss and OK coming up next it looks like Colorado is our last hope of making it to a bowl game.... I hope Nebraska can win one of the last 2 games, Hope doesnt matter in reallity I see Nebraska falling 5-7.... The hard part is going to be loosing to COlorado..... 10-3 last year possable 5-7 this year, reminds me of the raiders under the helm of Callahan, looser then looser now thank god we hired him and his pet monkey of a DC Cosgrove

MObile QBs are the most difficult to defend, Look what T.Frazier did for Nebraska, or M. Vick did for Vtech.... The mobile qb is what made Nebraska a power house team.. But if you are bashing pelini, OK is at least playing a good team, Cosgrove is getting man handled by Iowa state who looks worse. That's funny how you say mobile QB's are hard to defend. Nobdy had much trouble with Lord. Oh I forgot Pelini is the greatest Def. Coach ever. Cosgrove isn't very good but Pelini is nothing special. One more question what did Mike Vick ever win? That's what I thought. M. Vick might not have won much of anything but your compleatly missing the point or avoiding it, pelini is by far the better of the two coaches cosgrove vs. Pelini... And as far as mobile qb in lord, at least he can run the ball and when he had to throw the ball at least he got it to the right team.... Simply asinine. Are you able to see a foot in front of you? If not, you might want to move the TV and monitor closer. The rushing offense didn't dominate at all. No way in hell. The offense as a whole is still very anemic Listen, no one ever said that some plays that we, along with EVERY OTHER GOD DAMN TEAM IN THE COUNTRY, run will work well when executed. That goes for any play, I don't care what offense. If the WHOLE WCO was working great at this point, we wouldn't see you come around here. Nevermind the fact that now it comes down to throwing and catching the damn ball, which any football team does at least twice a game. Get a clue, seriously. You don't enjoy Husker football or any football, you loathe it. I take it that you are a big fan of loosing, keep defending Callahan and his O, but please look at what Nebraska did last year and look at what they have this year, look at the teams that have beat nebraska, and look at the teams nebraska has beat. Nebraska and this worthless Coaching Offense ( WCO ) we are not scoring, now with a great D you can get by with this, but Cosgrove has turned a great D into one of the worst in the NCAA... THis also has to do with Callahan throwing the ball more and keeping The D on the field more than the O, call control is key no matter what level of play your at and Nebraska is loosing this very important stat.

Cosgrove and Callahan have no idea how to prepair Neb for a game, they just look lost on the field O and D..... and look Cotton ex coach at Nebraska beating us and Badly.... Nect week we get to play vs Pelini and unless something happens devine intervetion we are going to get beat and bad vs OK

You have just made my point if you have a qb that has prob throwing the ball, why does callahan throw over and over? Asking Dailey to do something that he cannot is a coaching problem not a player problem. He is a freakin quarterback he should be able to throw the ball. I agree he should be able to throw the ball, but if you were coaching and knew how dailey throws, and also know that you have one of the best back fields in Green, Ross and jackson what would you be doing more of? THe Diff between this week and last week is all in the numbers, run win, pass loose..

Cosgrove's ideas regarding the D are weak to say the least, let us not forget the baylor game or the T Tech game But why does the "D" work sometimes and other times it's pathetic? because Cosgrove has no idea or cannot make any changes during halftime.... It seems to me that Callahan and crew are attempting to play like T TEch just out score the other team forget about stopping them. Look at Baylor they lost but racked up massive yards against a D that was top 10 last year.

I blame Dailey not Callahan. How many crappy throws. The play must be there if he keeps calling it. If you blame Dailey then you have to place alot of that on Callahan, he has a QB that obviouslly cannot throw... So what should a real coach do? work with what you have asking JD to pass the ball and be a threat is like asking a kicker to play center its not something that is going to work, and its not what he is best at.

Callahan will never bring Nebraska back to what they were in the 90's... Im not sure that any coach can, but I would be amazed if Callahan can manage to have a winning season during his carrier at Neb... He seems to need the best of the best at every possition to win, my question is this if you have the best of the best at every possition a coach really just lets them go and lets them make plays is this what Nebraska has to look foward to? As far as the D goes Cosgrove is a compleate and total waste of space, he has had one good game this year as Def Coach and some of that was due to BD. Smith having a bad game...

I will be impressed if next year turns out any different than this year, say all you want about when Coack C gets his guys in... A good coach works with what he has and turns them into winners, last year 10-3, then coach C comes in and everyone is praying for a 6 win season... Nebraska has gone backwards this is in noway a rebuilding year.

Callahan is not the brightest crayon in the box, I agree that he wants to have dailey stay in the pocket but at some point you have to look at the stats... For the love of christ we are #1 in INT in the NCAA and untill the Mizu game when it was too windy to throw the ball the O didnt look good at all.... then we run it out of the power I and we walk right down the field strange isnt it.

This has everything to do with the WCO, in the in against MIzu the O looked dominating, and they were running the ball out of the I.. running missdirection plays and delay plays this is the first time I have seen the Power I this year and gasp we won go figure

I see your point...and get tting blown out two games would hurt our chances to make a bowl game... We cannot forget that just because we win 6 games does not mean we automatically get a bowl game..... Im sure that we would even if we dont honestly have any right to be in a bowl game if finishing the year 6-6, after a 10-3 season 12 months ago
