  1. Cy, you are already starting to make yourself scarcer. Big Red Nation is worried...
  2. Oh Badgers, pull it together.....

  3. Clemson got hosed, that was intentional grounding

  4. I've got a feeling that Miami will pull a Boise State and roll over a weak conference into the title game...

  5. Either Clemson is good or Miami is terrible

  6. The real reason I dislike ESPN is that their streaming video service is terrible, and the way they schedule their games is atrocious. I could care less about play-by-play, halftime shows and other coverage. I just want to watch the games, in good quality, and be done with it. I'm still a big fan of BTN, wish they would pull all of their regular season games onto the network and run as an opponent to ESPN.... You'd think they would with Fox as a backer.
  7. That Texas loss, and the probable loss to the Sooners may push Ohio State-Wisconsin above us for Oct. 16th gameday....
  8. . Oregon's defense has looked awfully sloppy tonight. ASU has ad about 4 different chances to put this game away, and keeps making unforced errors. PAC 10 defenses just look weak altogether. really sloppy tackling, and lots of blown coverages. ASU looked explosive against Wisconsin. I have a feeling ASU has an offense. They have something like 550 all purpose yards per game averaged over their 4 games. I watched the game. Both defenses were very sloppy. There were busted assignments and penalties all over. Still hard to look down on Oregon compared with the rest of the top 10. Their offense has looked like it can adapt and put up numbers against anyone and every other team has looked a bit shaky.

  10. They should have sold 10k tickets to Texas fans at 900 a pop. This would have made up for the Big XII exit fee.
  11. It's the rules, unfortunately
  12. 1. Bama (Only team with a truly impressive win over a highly ranked opponent) 2. Oregon (Not screwing around) 3. Ohio State 4. TCU 5. Boise State 6. Stanford 7. Nebraska 8. Auburn 9. Oklahoma 10. Florida would be my rankings
  13. Go Big Red! Where the f#*k is the GBR emoticon?
  14. Turnover University is going to be the laughing stock of the south if they keep this up

  15. Texas is so bad they make UCLA look good

  16. Watching the scoreboards, and most of the games are just entering the 4th quarter Wisconsin 63-3 Iowa 42-0 Michigan 44-21 Michigan State 42-7 Not a very hard day for our future brethren
  17. The battles we go through in life,
  18. Quite frankly, everything below the true top 6 is pretty unimpressive this year. There aren't too many MNC contenders this year in my opinion.
  19. Texas will never go fully independent. They need a home for their non-revenue teams. They cannot manage Title 9 or a basketball schedule independent. In the end, if they go independent they will have to join up with some sh**ty conference to manage their non-revenues and in the end probably take a hit outside of football. This will reduce the clout a Longhorn Network will hold because the Volleyball, Basketball, etc. matches won't hold as many eyeballs.
  20. The thing with Locker vs. Martinez is, Martinez does not need to drop 80 yard runs every game. He does need to handoff and complete some short passes, so unless they shut down both his running AND his passing.... He won't have the kind of stats that Locker posted. In this respect, a subpar game will not hurt Martinez as much. Especially if he gets one good run out for a TD and we win by less than a TD against a Texas-like opponent.
  21. Prince, since we will defer or they will take the ball
  22. Yes, I had thought about this when pondering his chances. If Adrian didn't get the Heisman, I think that Taylor is doomed. He's definitely not as much of a stud as Peterson was.
  23. Insider Article An ESPN Insider article claims that Mallet currently leads new #2 Heisman Candidate Taylor Martinez based on their Heisman Predictor. Mallet leads with 99.5 Points, Denard follows Taylor with 98.5 and is tied with Terrel Pryor. The other only players with over 90 points are Andrew Luck (91) and Mark Ingram (94).
