Attainable goals is the key here in this thread. I don't like the Huskers losing any more than the next guy, but it's gonna happen. Why did Nebraska lose to Texas? Callahan's coaching? Why did Nebraska lose to OSU? Cosgrove couldn't make open field tackles? Ya'll need to relax and let this program take it's course. We'll win the North and stand a good chance of beating Texas in KC. Who we get in a bowl game is anybody's guess. And listen to the rest of these guys in this thread. A 9-3 team was a norm for NU during the mid-late 70's. Ugly loss? Obviously you are not watching the Tech - Longhorn game. It's fittin' to get real ugly for the Horns. I am not even one bit emotional about today's loss. Seriously, I am not mad or sad. It was just a loss. Those that post so negative obviously were not even on this planet when we had that awful coach in Tom Osborne. He could never beat OU and always lost the big one to Clemson, Miami or Florida State. I sure am glad that guy decided to retire when he did. Let's see where these same whining clowns are at when Nebraska returns to dominance sooner than most think.

This is rediculous. The players play the game, not the coaches. I don't blame anyone for the loss, it was just a bad game. The players may still be down after playing their hearts out last weekend and losing it in the final minutes. I didn't get to watch the game or listen to it. I tried gamecast on ESPN but it is too slow. So I refreshed on here for 3 hours and was getting pretty disgusted by the whining. It's just a football game, not the end of the world. There are a lot of college teams out there that wish they could be where our team is and has been. Think about it.
