Bleacher Report video leaked of Darnay committing to USC. Yes I know there are probably different endings. Also why have a video if you're committing at the game?

We're selling him on being the first Darnay Holmes at Nebraska. Which is great and all.. I get it.. He could become his own brand at NU but you don't get the exposure if you can't win big games. Now do I see him getting the exposure next year at USC that he would at Nebraska? No way. He has a plan of playing 3 years and being a 1st round draft pick. No matter what Nebraska says we don't do that as well as Ohio State or USC.

So dad is Team USC. Mom Team UCLA and Darnay Team OSU.. Nebraska nobody's favorite but nobody hates them either.. Wasn't overly impressed when I saw him in team camp. Farniok and his little brother have been more dominate when watching live.. Just my 2 cents. Congrats on the offer and if he flips hopefully he will work his butt off!!!

I get the love for USC. They are a hot team with a stud QB and a great business school. Coaches worked with Adoree and had him exploding at the end of the year. I think dad may want more playing time. Not sure what else he wouldn't like.. I actually thought it would have been him voting for USC.. I do think OSU is out.

Wow I missed a lot for the 5 hours I was gone.. She probably does have a track offer here as she's one of the best sprinters in California after her freshmen year. Obviously though UCLA and USC have better programs and she would only be with him for year so it shouldn't affect his decision.. On the news that the family is split is crazy but fun news. Mom and GF = UCLA Dad= USC and Darnay= Nebraska or Ohio State.. I think dad thinks USC will get him to the pros the fastest with the same kind of role Adoree played for them the past couple years. GF has been all about UCLA and took a visit with him there. Thinking Darnay likes OSU with the way they send players to the league. I didn't believe that Nebraska had a shot until yesterday. He loves Donte Williams. He has 3 Calabasas teammates here. Playing time on both of sides of the ball would be easy. Johnson Sr has sold Darnay that Riley knows how to utilize him on offense and special teams. Easy for his parents to come to games with Gebbia and Johnson SR flying back and forth and most likely buying a house or two. Let's face it Darnay commits to NU and he's the biggest thing in Lincoln since.... Dude would be the face of this team for 3 years. He'd be the Jabrill Peppers/Adoree Jackson/ Charles Woodson of Nebraska.. Do I think he commits to NU? No. But if he does he puts this program at a different level. Not doubting you, but you follow freshman female sprinting in California???!!!???? Haha no I don't.. but last spring when it really seemed like Darnay would be N I followed him on twitter.. He always posted or retweeted about her.

Seemed hesitant that we are in it with no official and his parents not coming to Lincoln or meeting Coach Riley. Said that having the papers in at Nebraska does make it interesting because most athletes don't do that unless serious. Thinks Sarell goes to Stanford. Says Stanford is just tough to beat in recruiting and feels like Nebraska did everything they could. Talked about Lenoir possibly going to USC as well opening up the door for Johnson to Nebraska. How much? My next four paychecks Must be unemployed.. : ) Seriously though as much as I'd love Darnay coming to Nebraska I just don't see it. Parent never came to UNL and we didn't see a coach visit him before the dead period. He did post Michigan and Ohio State visiting. I'd be stunned.. and so excited!!

We've lost two commitments from guys who were projects. If we lose Gebbia or KJJ, you can start panicking. Have to disagree. Don't think either decommits were projects.. easily could have seen Reese on the field before KJJ or Gebbia. Especially for the big need at TE.
