LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- A former Nebraska football player won't be prosecuted on accusations that he stole a big-screen television. Andre Jones was approved for pretrial diversion instead. Jones' lawyer says Jones had no police record and that the TV had been recovered. Lincoln police had said that Jones stole a 50-inch Pioneer Plasma TV worth about $2,800 from the basement of a home where he'd been staying. Police tracked down the TV at a pawn shop. The 25-year-old Jones played cornerback for Nebraska during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. He is a native of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He played junior college football at Fresno City College in California. Boy did he get lucky.

I dont know about you but if I was only making 190,000 at a school and someone offered me a job at KSU or any other nationally reconized program for 900,000 I think I would jump at the chance. Its not like he cant bring all of his assistants with him if he wanted to.
