You have no way to know this if this is true. In fact I remember Q talking during the Spring about how Lee was faster than most of the I-Backs and there has been a whole lot of hype about how good of a runner Lee is. How do you know Lee isn't better than Green as a runner? All we have are recruiting videos. I think Lee will do fine running and passing..but He's no Ganz..that guy had a run that just made me laugh! But back to the point...with our QB situation a bit bumby...would we wrisk a lot fo option plays?

Wouldn't it be silly to put Green in there for a losing effort...Yes game experince is crucial...but wouldn't an entire EXTRA year in the system be better? But..coaches know best...

I think most people in this board all agree that Lee starts...Washington goes in if there is a blowout... But if Lee gets hurt in a game that we really dont have a chance of winning (urgh I hate to think of that) do we burn Green's redshirt or go with Washington? The answer should be Washington.....but if it is a close game that is VERY winnable..what do we do? Green? Washington?

Let me tell you right off the bat that I am not against what BO did with "Q". I am glad that we have a coach that has the guts to put the team, the school, and the rules before a "winning at all cost" mentality...I was simply looking for everyone elses' opinion on the matter. Just starting discussion. I am as grateful as anyone that BO is here doing what he is doing.

If something like this has been posted already..sorry. Pelini dropping two major contributors from the team in two years (Glenn and Castille) we think that it is great because we have a NO NONSENSE coach that won't back down on the rules that he set forth when he took over the program.... I guess what I am asking..do you see Bo being too harsh (too black and white like he says his rules are) or do you think that it is necessary for a coach to sometimes put the rules before the player.... I am thrilled to have Bo as our coach and I will be behind him for as long as I can....but is he too strict? But of course, knowing nothing of what really happened...Bo could have given both of these guys every chance to stay with the team and they just made dumb mistakes... Anyways...two weeks to go...GO BIG RED!
