  1. His throwing mechanics are fine, I think. Not sure if you meant that specifically or overall mechanics. His footwork on his drops could use a little cleanup, but I think that's a result of putting him in a shotgun/spread offense when he really ought to be in a more pro-style offense. His biggest problem (as you pointed out) is happy feet. He made the O-line look a LOT worse than they really were. NU certainly got pressure at times, but even when they didn't, he ran into it unnecessarily. This has been a problem for 2 years, now.
  2. When did the officials whine and complain about NU leaving?
  3. The guy is a hack, plain and simple. Everyone in Missouri knows it, too. He made some good points, but he can't resist getting his jabs in. And, frankly, if you look at his history, he's been highly critical of MU over last few years.
  4. Is that really what you took from that article? Overall, it was a big, fat cheap shot at MU, the kind of which other posters on this forum have been critical of when it was about NU. He basically said MU sucked so bad that they couldn't even adjust to a simple alignment change up front. That's about as red-tinted as it comes. Yeah, that's why I asked if I was being overly sensitive. It really isn't about this one article, it is a culmination of slights that I have perceived (whether real or imagined) from Lee over the years. My real intent with this post was to gauge the perception Husker fans have of Lee's NU football coverage. I could be way off base. It wouldn't be the first time in my life that has happened. No worries, I wasn't trying to harass you, or anything. It's just amazing how two different people can read the same article and come away with totally different interpretations based on their perspectives. The whole thing sounded like a tongue-in-cheek joke, to me.
  5. What exactly do you want? Do you want every BS call that went against Nebraska to simply be overlooked because we beat Missouri's ass? You are entirely unrealistic here. I want you to recognize that there is no conspiracy. If we both took the time to put together a tape of all the BS calls we felt went against our teams this year, they would not be substantially different. Bad calls happen all the time. The suspension was unexpected, yes, but that had more to do with the NFL, in my opinion. And, I would be willing to bet we see another suspension this year. Right, because Missouri Fan would never complain that there was a Big XII conspiracy against them, like in the allotment of bowl bids, right? You can be the pot or the kettle. Whichever you choose doesn't matter, because you're just as guilty as the rest. Too bad this board wasn't around in 1997 following the Nebraska-Missouri game. Could you imagine the Tigger fans' uproar? Yeah, because we are SOOO different than you, right? Had the tables been turned, I'm sure this board would've sat back and golf-clapped over the whole deal.
  6. No kidding. The dude is "shock jock" writer for a St. Louis newspaper and didn't even attend Mizzou. Hell, he's from Maryland. LOL!!! Don't think Bernie is representative of the Tiger Nation? Check out the Tigerboard. It's full of BM's. Just like you two. Message Board Smack!!!

  9. There were bad calls both ways. I can think of a serious face mask on Gabbert and at least a couple of PI calls that were missed. There is no conspiracy, missed calls are part of the game. Funny, that's not what Tigerboard is saying about Gabbert's fumble. But it's what one would expect from you based on your previous delusional posts. Sorry to win and run but..... BTW, I like you new moniker H8TR. Very accurate if I say so myself. What? A. I don't speak for Tigerboard, I speak for myself B. Delusional? Examples? C. I am not Huskerh8ter, I can assure you that. But, I know enough about him to know that he would not hide behind a double handle.

Hell, we have people complaining that there may be a conspiracy against as it is just b/c we were involved in the whole realignment mess.
  11. What exactly do you want? Do you want every BS call that went against Nebraska to simply be overlooked because we beat Missouri's ass? You are entirely unrealistic here. Again, this is the wrong medium to get appeal on this line of thinking. Husker fans are not sympathetic to your cause. Fair enough, I'll drop it.

  13. This Missouri fan wouldn't. Trust me, there are plenty of "officials out to get us" threads on our board, even without the spectre of leaving the conference. Again, you're dreaming. Of course you would; you're here right now talking about facemasks and PI calls that weren't made. If you're griping about this now, it's clear you'd be ramping those gripes up even more with the pattern of calls Nebraska has put up with this season. Imagine playing this game without Aldon Smith because the Big XII just happened to suspend him before this game, for a hit that is commonly made every week in college football. Tell me that happens and you, personally, are not thinking there's something up with the situation. You're completely inobjective if you think you wouldn't be talking about that on a Tiger message board. There is a BIG difference between discussing missed calls and thinking they are out to get us or that it cost you a game. My posting history here and on Tigerboard will back up the fact that I don't and wouldn't subscribe to any conspiracy theories. If it makes you feel better about your own paranoia to think that I would, then that's fine with me. You're going to be a top-10 team after this with a legitimate shot at a National title if a few other teams lose (which is quite possible). Do you really need this conspiracy rallying cry right now?

  15. Nice flash from your camera on the TV. Not exactly an official review. This clearly isn't the moment of impact, so why don't you let those of us with access to civilized technology and, most importantly, knowledge of football, make the decision. Post your picture then, genius. His shoulder pad is literally touching Martinez's leg. What more do you want? Really? You can tell where his shoulder pad is from that picture? I find that odd as the picture is from the other side of the hit and if you took it a split-second later, you'd probably see the helmet come into contact with the leg, which would be a visible point of contact as it would not be hidden behind Martinez's thigh. Yes, I can tell, b/c his shoulder pad is on his....wait for it....SHOULDER, which is attached to his neck to which his head is attached and his head is already in front of the leg. I'm still waiting for YOUR video or picture evidence to the contrary since mine is hardly official.
