  1. He's right where he needs to be. Would you have eaten the golden goose the first time your stomach growled?
  2. Embrace your history. Just dont live in it. That's gotta be the mantra of this coaching search. Let's modernize and revolutionize. Get back. I don't think that anybody is really considering TO seriously. They're just engaging in hypothetical conversation. I really don't want to be argumentative, but in my humble opinion, "modernizing and revolutionizing" instead of embracing our former identity essentially is what has kept us in this mess for the past decade. A lot of us want to go back to the style of football that created all of the tradition that made this program great. Back to the future.
  3. Duke, I feel like you and are looked at as the "crazy uncles" when it comes to Bohl. I hear you though, and I'm with you. Did you see my link that I posted about him in another thread? I thought it was a damn good read. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/8/26/6005585/craig-bohl-wyoming-north-dakota-state-football-offense-defense
  4. Do you read any of the Wyoming papers? I do. Even with his current record, everyone there thinks that he is righting the ship in Wyoming. Go Google him up. They're pretty darn pleased over there.
  5. You don't keep the head guy. He ran this tanker into the reef. Interesting analogy. I'd argue that Callahan ripped open the hull and Pelini was brought in as a great apprentice welder to repair the damage. The repair was pretty good initially, but once the repair started to leak, he seems to only be able to fallback to his original leaky design. NU probably needs someone with a different perspective to fully complete the repair job. So Pelini ran it up on another reef. We may not be sinking, but we're not going anywhere either. (couldn't resist)
  6. I just wanted to mention one thing. As much as Tom was ripped by the media and people outside the program, he brought troubled kids into his own home. How many coaches would do that? I honestly believe that he genuinely cared for those young men. Yes, he could right this ship. He's a God-honest living legend.
  7. Is there some sort of humanitarian award for always giving other teams landmark moments?
  8. They're going to wish that they had this one back later in the year. Time to nut up and play like a team from here on out. No more f'ing around as 5 individuals. Basketball is a team sport. Congrats to Rhode Island. Today sucked.
  9. For some reason, Walter is afraid to get in there and bang, yet he has the perfect body for it.
  10. If they lose this one, they can kick themselves squarely in their own backsides, because they gave it away.
  11. I wish Will Shields would've had more kids. 51 all. 2:33 left. Timeout NU
  12. All three have been ugly. We need to start gelling or Creighton is going to clean our clock. They looked damned good in the 2nd half against OU.
