Tom Shatel...."Creighton should put a Doug Mc statue up NOW...not wait. goes onto explain why and then shows statues of Oscar Robertson, Shaq, Larry Bird, and Magic....Ummm, 3 of those 4 "statues" were unveiled in 2011-2013....years after the player had a HOF NBA career... not after JUST a great ncaa career. Tom is off his f'n rocker again

  Absolutely...won't argue that at all. But I thought statues were meant for "immortalization" of years of greatness.... Am I missing the Suh, Frazier, Gill, Crouch, Rozier statue? The Berrigner is totally a different "meaning". Maybe I am missing the mark here.. just my opinion

  i did not read the article, so i am unsure of the specifics. but i do not think CU has any statues and this may be the most deserving player they will ever see. is he saying the school should build the statue? or who?
