  1. Caron hits triple, scoring Silva . Throw onto 3rd hits, Caron and goes out of play. Caron awarded home. 5-0 Huskers, still in top of 5
  2. Christo navigating through some hits, walk, but nothing on the board through 4. 4 k, headed to top of 5, 3-0 Big Red
  3. Tyler Stone with a 2 run BOMB to give GBR a 3-0 lead
  4. Huskers on the board first. 1-0 in top of 4, only 1 out with runner on 2nd
  5. Has GCU announced their rotation, I haven’t seen it? I was assuming that they would throw their ace tomorrow to keep the true Friday-Friday rotation. We kept ours the same, just added Christo to the front end.
  6. Ugh…. OU ties it up in 9th with 2 outs with single and bobble in outfield allows runner to score from first base. OU loads bases after that and walk off single. Scored 2 runs with 2 outs. Ouch !!!
  7. Perry in to pitch and OU scores 2 on a long ball. , currently 6-5 Neb…. OU still up to bat with tying run on bases
  8. Huskers plate another run and also had one thrown out at the plate. 6-3 now, still batting
  9. Ask, and they deliver. Huskers add 3 more with 4 hits in the 5th inning. Now lead 5-1. Christo into pitch (last inning 4th) and back to mound in bottom of 5
  10. Timmerman comes in and gets the K. Huskers hold onto a 2-1 lead going to 4th. Offense needs to pick it up. Way too many strikeouts
  11. We were up 2-0 on only 1 hit and 2 Sooner errors. OU scores 1 and still have them loaded in the bottom of 3. Clark exits with throwing approx 65 pitches in 2 2/3 innings. Timmerman into the game in tough spot
  12. Dropped this one 6-3. Had every chance to win if we get hits in final 4 innings with runners in scoring position. Pitching in 9th was rough.
  13. Welp, luck ran out. Tech has plated 3 and still going in top of 9. Worthley came in with inherited runners and struggled. Olsen in now
  14. Getting guys in scoring position, but can’t get the timely hit. Stranded another on 2nd in bottom of 8. Onto the 9th tied 3-3
  15. Escaped the top of 8. Tech had go ahead run in scoring position with 1 out, but we stranded him
  16. We have had chances last two innings, but left guys stranded in scoring position
  17. Had a chance. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, but strike out, fly out ends inning. Walsh went 5.2…. 3 runs…. 0 walks, which is Childress’ mantra. Offense doing enough to keep us in it
  18. Huskers hanging tough ! 3-3 bottom of 6. We are the home team
  19. Maybe fantastic is a little over zealous, but to complain is being pretty nit-picky as they allowed 1 run in the first outing with a guy who was in the pen ( admittedly misused by coaches), a freshman in a leverage situation, and KP who didn’t throw amazing last year. Compared to last year in San Diego, this was fantastic. I understand that the opponent wasn’t SDSU, but if told you going in that we would allow 1 run, I am betting that 99.9 of us would be ok saying fantastic. Again, maybe a slight stretch, but closer to fantastic than solid. One double away, allowed by a freshman from a shut out . Maybe I am just referencing the performance compared to the “expectations “ rather than just simply looking at number of hits.
  20. If anyone has a link to the post Bolt interview, can you please post it. Local radio went straight back to ESPN. UGH
  21. All four guys were fantastic on the mound today
  22. All four guys were fantastic on the mound today
  23. Sears did exactly what we needed! 7 k, 3 hits, 0 walks through 5.1. More than solid. Got some great defense after the one error. Offense will come around!!
