Yup. He seems self-centered and to act in his own self interest... but that's the worst I can say of him objectively, and that describes most athletes and coaches. It seems most don't like his loud personality, and that's a general cultural difference.
Everybody doesn’t have to be liked. Sometimes people should keep it football. I don’t see a reason to get personal or hateful over someone “not being their cup of tea”

Sorry you can't see it. Good coach, personality is garbage
If the players don’t like it don’t let it happen

Some of his flaws will spill out against aggressive defenses and some things are correctable. I think a big thing is he is poised and patience but i don’t think he is proactive to pass rush. I think the biggest thing is watching the ways this offense schemes players open. Sometimes you really don’t have to come off the first read. I like to watch this page and Kurt Warner but if you have time give this a watch. Idk if he is a big time pro prospect but like JT said the offense is similar to the air raid and a lot of those dudes don’t fit the NFL but they are wizards in college and that might be his ceiling

C’mon now. Nebraska is a notch or two more relevant than Oregon State and SJSU. They’re special!!!

You are trying very hard to (I guess) force a conclusion that no reasonable person would come to. But I applaud the effort.

They are all football games so I thought the part that it was about football was fairly self-explanatory. My apologies if that was hard to understand.
It must be since you tried to define it to fit the narrative of your choice

Yep. We're just about irrelevant.
If you think that says anything other than football is relevant something is really wrong

Another thing that goes along with the QB.........
Whether you ever started or not, the dude, for a good portion of the game, was making lights out throws. New or not, if you're executing, what difference does it make?
Until we get a bigger sample size we don’t know how good he is. Their last game prep before us was also Tony White so who knows what he really is.

Perhaps you forgot because you're making it sound like a lot more than it is. Their RG started every game at RT last year and was All-B1G Honorable Mention. The other two are also seniors who played in basically every game last year. And their QB played in 11 games and started against us.
By your logic, we were in the exact same situation.
But keep insisting it's everyone else who is delusional.
Look at these numbers and tell me if he is some certified commodity. Like I said they lost their QB and until this dude does something for a prolonged period that’s still a box as a team they are looking to cross off. Let’s just make this very simple. We still don’t know who we are and for sure we didn’t beat anybody who has accomplished anything. How about that logic

@gossamorharpy Some of these takes I've read make me wonder if some people think it's 2019 and Gary Patterson is still coaching TCU's defense...
Right! Some these takes made me forget Minnesota replace their entire interior o line RB and QB. So much delusion going around

Maybe it is the Lord’s work to bring humility to Deion this weekend?? Just saying
Maybe it’s his will. But changing the narrative at this point will not be received the same. People made the task impossible and now you have to hear him gloat and it sounds even louder

I guess he doesn’t like being questioned or doubted by the media.
Us against the world mentality and building self confidence. Seems like a good combination for a competitive sport

Have you seen the talent Bama and Clemson recruited? Of course it works. I agree with Deion, talent wins games over coaching. He brought talent to CU. He’s not there for a slow rebuild. USC had a couple down years, they get the coach to bring in talent. This is not our space, why do we think PAC 12 retread Riley was going to fix that? Everyone wanted Frost to succeed but he couldn’t recruit or develop. Rhule is in a tough spot, he may be the right guy for the rebuild but CU having instant success took all the wind out of the sails and more importantly recruiting eyes to his program, not ours. Stop chasing the one QB, the one slot skill player, rebuild the lines at all costs, give me a bunch of RBs like Rex and Ameer and we will start moving in the right direction.
We’ve been top 25 in recruiting for a decade. The biggest thing is leadership and direction which we’ve failed at but that’s no excuse to settle for Brett beilema. Did you see Wandale’s career in the SEC? It’s obvious we can recruit a competitive roster but asking retreads to take us to a place they aren’t competent enough to do seems like the real mistake. I’m not giving Rhule a single excuse if the wind is out of his sail. Good coaches win and he’s getting paid a pretty penny. Let’s not forget he brought in about 40 new players himself

The way I am looking at it is the sky already fell. Not on this season but for the recent past. It’s now a matter of finding a way back. If we don’t find identity and a way to get guys that fit our system we are never sniffing 9 wins again. If we wanted that space of razzle dazzle offense we should have hired Sanders. He’s all in on that and that’s where he thinks he can play and take some of that space. I don’t blame him, he has some talented players all in for him. That’s not us so we need to deal with it. Our identity is Husker Power and Blackshirts defense, run the ball, run the QB yet that is not the way we have recruited or played. We’re enamored thinking we can be something we’re not.
I don’t understand this mindset one bit. Clemson pops up with a modern style and builds a brand and it’s ok for them. Saban adjusted and got with the times and that’s ok for him. Colorado puts up 45 and plays with conviction in their first game against a P5 and that’s ok. But we should play in a way that literally has not proven sustainable success in a decade? It’s been so dark times but not enough to dare to be average

Either this idea of hit them in the mouth with husker power will work or this fan base is gonna have to have a come to Jesus about the product that’s on the field. Tony white I’m optimistic about but how long do we keep him? Satt seems questionable. Rhule had a couple winning seasons in tough spots but also a whole bunch of losing seasons and a flameout in the NFL. And at the end of the day we are playing to same players that’s been apart of our recent struggles.

I’m sorry but becoming Wisconsin would be considered a massive win by the majority of fans here. Not sure what u mean by become Wisconsin when they’ve been superior to us for 15 years now
Iowa State and a long list of other schools have been superior to us too. And Wisconsin also realized they hit the ceiling of that identity 5 years ago. The sport has evolved and you either get with the times or get lost. Personally I want to compete at the top so there is nothing interesting about Wisconsin who has never been considered a top 4 team in the sport so I’ll pass. It’s too man resources available to not even make a bowl it’s getting disgusting at this point.

Nebraska fans should stop buying stock in press conferences and offseason hype.
Satt shouldn’t be judged so hard until he gets a QB that isn’t a disadvantage to the team. Liked his 2nd quarter adjustment to the run game.
Oline probably had their best matchup of the season and still started to cave.
Like the youth upfront. Something that’ll definitely help the backend. Would trade Ty Rob for 2 water bottles.
LBs look decent going forward
we’ve never had corners that really mirrored well other than CTB. But for the most part they held on until the team gave up.
Don’t know how long we can keep Tony White. But if he leaves soon that might drop the bottom out of the rebuilt
