that's bs.....several of my best friends are ND fans, and that fan base bitched like hell when they were going through their down turn and hiring new coaches, until they got Weis.......they were loyal fans, but they were upset with th direction of their program too.....complaining, wanting a change is not a loyality issue, it is an issue of believing the program and leader is wrong for the team.......christ, if no one cared, DO YOU THINK ANYONE WOULD BITCH AND COMPLAIN?? hell no! we all care and are disturbed by what we see and hear from Callahn and his coaches.... hunter

it's pretty easy to pick on the D when the damn O can't do any better than 3 and out......hell, the D is on the field for most of the games this year, the O couldn't put together a 5 minute drive if their life depended on it.........no running attack, passing woeful due to D blitzing us, knowing we have to throw, cause we can't run.....not much difference than when running all the time and they stack 8 guys on the line...same results.......you have to have balance......as i have said all year, where in the hell do we get future O linemen? i hear nothing about us trying to recruit O linemen?? hell i guess we don't need any? no wait, cally was an O line coach, he must know that we don't need any good O linemen.....i give up....maybe we can get some more 1-2 year wonders out of JUCO's.....another trend that seems to be setting in here with coach C......hell i would rather see the walk-on program resurrected, it isn't anymore a band aid than spending time pursuing JUCO's?? hunter

yes, and how many coaches did ND have to go through to get a good one? and they were not afraid to can the bad ones along the way either......see this for what it really is.......poor, poor coaches! hunter

i agree, your D is a good one.......but you have to admit, we have big probs on offense.....good luck the rest of the way, if we can't make a bowl i hope you guys do....we need good representation from Big 12 North......thanks fro coming by to our board, as you can tell we are all pretty upset with the current situation hunter

maybe not.......i would say a lot depends on the internal attitude of this team and their realtionship to the coaches.....we have no idea what is going on "inside this team", but from the outside looking in, anything is possible.....get over it, there may indeed be mass defections........i hope not, but i could understand it if it happens...... hunter

i fully expect to lose out the last 2 games.........5-6 again this year......Wagner and Novell have got to be fired.period. christ, what the hell was cally's attraction to Norvell, the guy sucks! i don't give a sh#t how much talent you don't have, if you can't make any player better, then you can't goddamn coach! i don't see any player playing better now than at the beginning of the year......and seeing how many freshman start and star for other teams, what the hell is the excuse, the complicated WCO? folks, screw the excuses......the whold coaching philosophy is in desperate need of a major overhaul! the kids have no confidence. remember when things got tough in the past, and the players called their own team meeting to rally themselves? well, we don't see that anymore now do we?.....this program is f'uped!! hunter

if Lucky does move on nextt year and goes to USC or UCLA and has a great season, then cally should be fired instantly.......maybe it is time for the fans to boycott the goddamn games, if that is what it takes to get cally and ped's ass run off! true, it would hurt the program, but drastic measures just might be needed to turn this thing around.....i have slept on this loss all night and i feel worse this morning...this sucks! i hope they roast callys ass monday!!!!!!!! : hunter

it's not just the losing record, but getting our asses whupped by lowly Kansas, barely beating Maine.......where DO YOU DRAW THE LINE? i support the team and always will, but damn hard to be satified with the coaching.........as i said i expected to lose to TT, MU, CU.......but KS.....come on......and the real stinker here is the lack of improvement and consistency.......are these players really that bad? we are playing poorly instead of seeing any level of improvement....... hunter

well what adjustments and goddamn coaching genius did you see in the 2nd half? did i miss something?? were the kids fired up like TO used to get them in the 2nd half in alot of games when we trailed? hell no..nothing, zero......... hunter

who cares what anyone thought or said BEFORE THE GAME........the game itself should be the focus.......the coaches DID NOT have the kids ready to play this game....hell it wasn't even close! i don't care what anyone says, the coaches, collectively did a piss-poor job......the worst effort this year, against the worst team we will face all year.....they will rightfully roast cally's ass come Monday morning.......Ped, Pearlman, the whole damn bunch should hang their heads in shame.......the off season will be a long one.....spring game a sham again, we have lost something very important here, crediability.......I love the Huskers and support the kids and the program, but these coaches have proven they are clueless.......yes i was willing to give them more time a few weeks ago, but this loss just is unforgiveable......it will linger in the minds of many for the rest of the year and well into next fall.......THIS IS NOT A TALENT PROBLEM, IT IS CLEARLY A COACHING PROBLEM!!! hunter

well, pud should take the heat here........he should have kept FS UNTIL a quality coach could have been found......i have never been fond of hiring a throw-away coach and that is exactly what cally was.....now realistically and for the sake of the program we will have to keep him (cally) for 1 or 2 more years, or we risk an even greater debacle......this game will break our ass for recruiting for the rest of the season.......and if we lose the last 2 we are really screwed...too bad that we may be saddled with bad baggage for 2 more years........then 2-3 more years IF we get a good coach to get things turned around again......sh#t, this may take awhile folks! hunter

i didn't hear the game, was at work.......but obviously we stunk up the place really bad......as much as this team is in devlopment, we should have beat Kansas..... allowing them 40 points is unthinkable....this is an all time low for me, where the hell is the motivation to win one more game to become bowl elligible....something is amiss here.....and very badly so hunter
