well i can tell you this for sure, if the damn offense doesn't spend more time on the field and they keep going 3 and out, our D will be dead tired trying to cover Tech receivers and putting on the pass rush......if that happens, then yes, we will fall flat on our a$$e$...... hunter

yep, just as i suspected , things will not change as far as the multiple motion drills and shifts........hell we don't need a tough defense to play against, when all we do is confuse ouselves with this endless shifting, which doesn't fool anyone else on the defense anyway.....so, if it doesn't work why the hell keep doing it? when it just results in penalties to the offense? (just like he continued to run the 2 TE set, even in the 2nd half)...this is the stubborn sh#t that Callahan will continue to do and will be of NO benefit to our team! this guy will NOT learn from his mistakes hunter

Well, I agree for the most part, but redshirting both of them would leave us with only 2 I-backs and 1 fullback. That's not the kind of depth you want, especialy with BJax being somewhat susceptable to injury. exactly!

and you have freshman running backs all over the place, getting playing time at other schools.......sorry i am not buying the excuses for them not playing more hunter

a lot of adjustments are going to have to take place in the next 3 weks for that to happen........we can only hope, but cally's philosphy will have to change too and i doubt we will see that........come on cally! take what they will give you!! hunter

that is what i have always said..."where are the 1/2 time adjustments"? we used to be famous for those adjustments and kicking ass in the 2nd half.....now it is just MOTS........ hunter

nope, i agree with you completely........it is often not about trickery or disguise, it is about execution, hell if our guys don't know where to lineup we haven't got a chance....time to stop shifting and start hitting!! hunter

i really get the feeling he is going to run his offense with no regard for results..our only hope is eventually we recruit enough guys at the skill positions to "fit his dream".......it is not about winning for cally, it is about being "right" and running "his offense".......after last year and the 3 games played this year, it is hard to sse this any other way......that is a realistic assessment of what is going down here.....i am not criticisizing or condemning the guy (although i don't like what i see), it is just a fact!! there is no other good explanation for what we are seeing here......... hunter

junior, i agree with alot of what you posted..the problem is there has been no easy game, but that is no excuse to not figure out HOW TO UTILIZE these new guys.....that is my beef with the coaching/play calling of what cally is doing here. anyone with an offensive mind should be able to design some plays for these guys and get them in more each game, they are indeed a talent, no question about that. the deal with Greene is weird, what-the-hell is that all about??? seems cally is really confused about who to play where? hell, we have moved guys all over the place and we are still tinkering with this 3 games into the season? i can see messing with the O line, as that problem has not nor will probably not be solved, but the backfield guys and the wasted talent/depth there? there seems to be no logic to some of the playcalling/utilization of some of these guys....it is like going hunting with a pellet gun, why in the hell would you not take something bigger, unless you don't care if the bear bites you in the ass?? hunter

big and slow.....they have trouble getting off the ball and on their blocks....bigger is not better unless you have quick and feet and can move hunter
