First off, I would like to thank Josh Freeman for leaving a gap in our commitment list. I'm about the same age and don't know how I could have made a last minute change the way he did. I mean, he would have been here in less than 3 weeks. I hope he didn't do this on a whim and that he truly thought that the move was right for him. I wish him the best of luck at K-State. Furthermore, Do you think NEB should try and get another QB commit for this season or just wait untill next year? Basically all the high recruits have committed. The only ones I saw were Brent Shaffer, JuCo (Played for Tennessee last year as a true freshman). Also Mitch Mustain was a solid commit for Arkansas but he recently told the media he was going to "look at his options". Nice if we could get him but 99% sure that won't happen. There is talk that he is thinking about Notre Dame. If he decides to commit there, Notre Dame already has 2 highly ranked QB recruits (both elite 11, I think), Zach Frazer and Demetrius Jones, one of them might back out and go somewhere else. Thats all the options I see this year. I say they try and go for Mitch Mustain, thinking there's not a chance in hell that they'll get him. No loss if they don't get him, great reward if they do. P.S. This is what kind of trouble they get into when they tell a QB he will be the only QB recruit.

I believe I was one of the few who didn't say Iowa a few weeks ago.

16 freshman saw the field this year and last weekend, those freshman who had yet to burn a redshirt decided not to do so, so almost every sophmore practically got a chance to play. The only thing i want to bitch about with the game is Callahan leaving Zac Taylor in when the score was 30-3 in the middle of the third quarter. He should have yanked Zac out and given Beck a quarter and a half to test drive the offense out. Oh well, hopefully we destroy our bowl opponent by the second quarter and Beck comes in middle of the third I think Billy C. put Beck in at the right time. There was no reason to put Beck in earlier and possibly give Colorado a chance to sneak back into the game.

Alamo bowl vs. Michigan

I told myself if Nebraska went 7-4 this season I would be very pleased. Honestly I didn't think we had much of a chance today. I don't believe that I was the only one who thought this. My apologies for doubting the Huskers! So who will we play now in a bowl? Alamo: Northwestern or Michigan?

When is the last time Nebraska was ranked #3 in the pre-season polls and failed to qualify for a bowl game? I'll go out on a limb and say NEVER! I'm glad I'm not a Tennesse fan!

I've never really hated KState. I have nothing but respect for Bill Snyder. I mean, when you take arguably the worst team in the history of Div. I football and turn them into a power house in less than 10 years your a damn good coach in my book. KState coaches are kinda like the Green Bay staff in the 90's, You look at them now and there all over the place as head coaches.

A good coach yes, Coach of the Year...no. Should go to Chalie Weis or JoePa.

We actually are ranked 24th in the Harris poll. But not in the AP or Coaches, almost though.

Did another team put on our jerseys and play for us? I was amazed how much we progressed in two weeks. I did see a few dropped passes in the first half and lack of redzone TD's. I'm not about to complain because Nebraska's defense didn't have to carry the team, although we wouldn't have won if they didn't playing like they did. Congradulation on the FIRST TRUE WIN of the season!

I have been to both Turner Field and Reynolds Stadium (Arkansas Razorbacks). I have to say both screens are ENORMOUS! It probly is overkill but so is a 65" Widescreen in 15 x 15 living room.

Looks like I'm getting the Oklahoma game. Does anyone know if any of the stations broadcasting the Nebraska game also broadcast over the internet free? Because I'm not paying $20 to watch it. Not that I wouldn't just because I can't afford it (Poor College Student).

I wish we had a QB who could complete over 50% of his passes. I'm still willing to give Taylor a chance to settle in to the new environment but if he dosen't improve...sooner or later its going to bite us in the butt.
