Is this something that Bo can institute?It seems to me that he like to redshirt.Look at the 2008 class.{Though I think that was done with an eye towards 2009 and 2010. Your thoughts?

No significant talent gap? Between who?NU and Iowa St? NU wants to compete with Texas and OU and there was a very significant talent gap.When that gap narrows{and I hope this staff is up to it.}NU will battle for Big 12 Championships.

If the 2008 and 2009 recruiting class don't win a Big 12 Championship,then it will be a big Disappointment.

I follow the CFL and BB will never play here. There is a strict salary cap,and the only players making big money are the QB's.The top QB can make about $450,000/year. $5million for BB in the CFL?He might as well buy a team for that much.

All I'm saying is in 2010 I'd like to see NU in the mix on the top 100 players in the country.Guys that are highly rated might really be impactful under Bo and staff.

From the 2008 class,who played and who redshirted? It seems to me that Bo/staff decided to R/S alot of players in hopes of better players and depth for 2009. The players from 2008: Smith, P.J. Cooper, Khiry Whaley, Alonzo Williams, Josh Reed, Kyler Meredith, Cameron Fisher, Sean Okafor, Collins Who above will make an impact in 2009? I'd like to see Okafor moved to Safety. BTW,will Pelini start to play younger players{ala USC} as depth gets better and he gets his own players? GBR.

Don't forget about L. Washington and A. Whaley. Btw,why didn't Washington play more in 2008?We lost alot of linebackers in 2007. Injured? Didn't pick up scheme? Hasn't panned out? He's a smart kid.

If you look it up,NU's defence, that"sucked",finished 2nd in the Big 12.Oh yeah,that same defence finished ahead of OU.

No, I don't belive you at all. So I will not repeat those words. Now you repeat after me: Recruiting does not matter at all, and walk-ons from Nebraska is all we need to win the BCS Championship. And no insert sarcasam sign is needed at all either. Recruiting DOES matter.Yes,5 star players don't grow on trees.But I would like to see NU in on players on the Rivals top 100.2009 class,not so much.We still don't know if this staff can recruit.I'd say they probably can.The staff sure can coach.What would they do with Tejas' players? Recruiting needs to get to the point where Rivals etc say Pelini is recruiting this kid,he must be a stud.{ala PCarroll}.You reap what you sough.Look at USC,Texas,Fla,OSU,OU. Yes,Our class is Top 25,and depending on the coaching,we could move up in the Top 25 rankings during the season.The one unknown is still if Bo and staff can pull in the big time recruit.Hopefully they will,but right now we don't know. That said,Cody Green was a huge get.Hope he becomes great. But we still need to surround him{or Zac Lee} with impact players,and the roster,right now,looks bereft of them.
