  1. Sorry, zoogies, I was in a little argument with bigwillie who acts as if he knows andy is scum (read his posts, not my feelings), and I was using a little sarcasm with him...because he won't admit he knows him...which if you're going to judge a person that deep, you better know him/her for yourself. I just forgot the sarcasm line. I agree the article was ridiculous, baseless, and not worth reading or making this many posts on huskerboard about.
  2. And, I'm pretty sure I didn't take any pot shots at you....reading through your posts the only potshots were taking by BigWillie at Andy, who BigWill supposedly knows so much through some people who supposedly know, etc.....Not exactly a good source. The only way I could have taking a potshot at you is if you actually do work at action 3 news....which in case you do 2 things: 1.I'm sorry, what a guess, and 2. If you've ever listened to unsportsmanlike conduct you would know that they always have fake breaking news sponsored by Action 3.... Judging by your post times I'm pretty sure you don't work at Action 3...therefore, I was sticking up for Andy, who I don't know and don't judge because we all live in glass houses....and for the last time on this post I will remind you that he was determined to be INNOCENT. End of story....and in reference to your speeding ticket you got off of even though you we guilty...sexual assault is not the same caliber as a speeding ticket...they don't mess around with charges in regards to inappropriate behavior towards women.
  3. Yeah, you're right, I'm the one making big assumptions by assuming a college kid AT a bar is drunk........and you're assumptions from you're sources......................................................I could probably ask around and find people that will spit dirt on just about anyone......do you work for Action 3 news?? If Andy's problems were as simple as alcohol, he would have the same problem many college kids do. Unfortunately for Andy, it is not that simple. And if you want to take pot shots to somehow make yourself look bigger in this conversation, feel free. In the end, it only makes you look pitiful and childish. Like I said, you don't have to believe me, I do not care either way. If you don't agree, let's end this and move on so we don't clutter the board. Lets especially not do it with mindless babble where you just want to troll rather than actually talk. I said we could agree to disagree, you chose to go this route. Just silly. I'm sorry, but you are just plain wrong. You are the one taking "pot shots" and who looks "pitiful and childish." All he did was offer up his opinion and you just attacked him... Amen to my new brother, lil red....I was just trying to say that sometimes we as fans of the big red with nothing to do this time of year act like we know more than we actually do....I think he was trying to say I took pot shots at him, but I also was sticking up for him because according to what we actually know, he was not guilty of anything other than getting extremely mad he found out he was being charged with something that "according to the legal system" he didn't do.
  4. I think a big factor for the Big Red @ VATECH will be our D-Line, provided Suh & Co. are playing like they were the last half of the season. I remember Taylor floating around and buying time frequently throughout the game. If Suh is still beastly and Allen and the other ends can keep contain, I think we might be take away their passing game, or at least limit it much more than in Lincoln. If we can get Taylor to make some mistakes it will take tons of pressure off of the new QB, whomever he is. It may be delusional, but in my mind I remember the Big Red beating themselves last year (no disrespect to VATECH) in Lincoln. VATECH did capitalize on our muckups, but I think our defense found some light with BO towards the second half of the year (Oklahoma game not included ).
  5. 6. All I am saying is I hope you actually know the kid, which I'm betting probably is not the case....did you ever play the telephone game in school... Also, a person might get extremely angry if they are getting accused of something they didn't do....especially if they have been drinking alot or if they have "problems" as has been stated many times by you Big Willie....think about it. The flawed system works both ways....it is possible for women to bring up ridiculous charges against men to avoid embarrasment, keep the hubby away from the kids, etc....and it's a little easier to get out of a speeding ticket than it is to get off a charge of sexual assault. You're throwing pretty strong allegations around...I just hope you actually know these things and you're not just inferring them from stories you heard from random people who know people. And in summary, in our society....not guilty is technically not guilty....until you meet the creator.
  7. I don't wanna go down this road, but neither was OJ. Andy = Richie Incognito Part 2, minus the talent Whoa!!! OJ?? Just hope you folks that are crucifying an innocent ppl never get charged with something you didn't do...bc there are other folks just like you out there that will "know" you're guilty. I'm pretty sure Andy didn't have the legal dream team defending him....didn't cause a high speed chase with blood in his car...etc. Oh, and the charges didn't involve murder. I don't know either party involved, but I've heard many disparaging comments about the girl from Lincoln students who don't know Andy...I'm just saying, he was exonerated and that means he's NOT guilty. We all saw the OJ trial....... oh, and was Richie charged or convicted of anything along these lines? Just wondering cause I thought he had anger issues with people on the team, such as Adam Carriker.
  8. Very strange story. I agree with huskertrucker, the new coaching staff doesn't seem to be the type to just lie to or avoid the phone calls of anyone...at least that's how it seems from the outside. Bo hasn't avoided any hard questions at press conferences I've heard....so who knows, and O well because results on the field will negate this one "situation".
  9. I know I can't stand ND, but they been so pathetic lately that I almost hope they improve to where I can root against them and not feel like I'm kicking a baby or pushing an old lady.....They've fallen so far the media and their fans think beating Hawaii signals their return, and that Hawaii is respectable because they ALMOST beat Cincinatti at the end of the year after (I'm pretty sure) Cincinatti had already locked up the Big East.
  10. It's January, I mean wait it's February...time flies....so let's stay positive. Perhaps the WR's on the team didn't feel the urgency last year with Swift and Peterson (and sort of Holt). This year it's fairly wide open at the WR position so someone could really step up and emerge as the man at WR. I honestly think that Nate Swift deserves a lot more credit than he got. I know he was white and doesn't run a sub 4.5 40, but he was a gamer....you don't return a punt for a touchdown without having at least a few moves. I'm pretty sure he got an invite to the combine (hopefully since I said that). Also, tonight on the radio, Mike'l Severe (who seems to know football) and Sipple were talking about Kinnie, who according to Rivals is pretty fast, as an immediate impact player. They were saying they think from this staff wouldn't target a JUCO who isn't ready to help. I bet, and I hope, we'll be surprised by our wideouts this year....I think Bo's a good coach who probably knows what he's doing. (maybe I drink too much Kool-Aid )
  11. So is it safe to use Facebook as a source the next time I have to write a paper?
  12. Something to remember on the star rankings of recruits: look at all the variance between the different "experts". That said, 5 stars are/were exciting to get. I think a good coaching staff that can develop players is more important at the college level than just bringing in 4 or 5 star players? Just MHO. (The ideal situation is bringing in the best players AND developing them, which I think BO is going to end up doing).
  13. I always just read the board, but this topic made me become a member so that I could speak up. Many of the members of this board may not realize that anyone can create a group about anything or anyone on Facebook. It's sort of like TV, just because it is on Facebook, does not mean it is true....Also, this morning's paper states that the party didn't even happen, and Andy didn't attend! Lots of kids drink too much, and as I recall he was not CONVICTED of the sexual assault or whatever it was. To avoid getting lambasted on my first post, I will say that I agree with what you are about to say: you should not put yourself in position for these kind of charges to filed against you....but who is perfect?? We are living in the McCarthy era again aren't we? People can bring charges up on others pretty easy these days, so I wouldn't point fingers at people just because they were charged, we should wait to crucify until they have been CONVICTED. There is a big difference. I don't even know ANDY, just for the record.
