    Heard about a $3 billion Pac-12 TV deal on Twitter. So one care to explain?

      It says they topped the B1G?! I did not think that was possible!!!

      It's possible. The B1G first-tier contract was done in 2007 and is up in 2015 IIRC.

       

      What's more important is how much lower the Big XII gets pushed down the totem pole in revenue. The B1G, Pac-12, and SEC all have TV networks (the SEC via ESPN, mind you) and substantially higher payouts.

       

      Here's to hoping Beebe can get a good night's sleep between now and when the Big XII crumbles.

      Well in 2015 when the tier 1 contract for the big12 comes up it will surpass the pac12 and then when the big10 comes up is will surpass the others, then the sec will come up again and pass the others and then.....
