Yea all programs should have the background checks because there shouldnt be people allowed to play if they arent decent people. This is supposed to be scholar-athletes not convicted felons when they arent being athletes.

The Huskers will do it with the WCO, most likely not in the near future, but sometime down the road, when the system is in place, and we have and entire team recruited for the WCO system, thats when the sacrifices of this team and the next few teams will be made into success. Patience will be important for fans in the next few years to let the system settle before putting unreasonable demands on the huskers.

Especially changing from an option style to the WCO is a very tall order indeed. Just implementing a new system is tough enough, but to change the entire offensive philosophy is going to be a huge job for BC.

Winning at home is definitely a priority, but hopefully it will also set the standard for the rest of the year, being the first 5 games. The winning will snowball into a 7 or 8 win season.

That move doesnt make sense to me either, with the depth me will have at RB this year anyway. Especially with the lightened load the running backs with have to take due to a more potent pass threat.

Either way you look at it, NU had to make a change because the option simply doesnt work anymore. Defensive players, especially linemen are way to fast for the option to be effective. Since the WCO is the current trend, and seems to be effective, it was the reasonable choice. There was just no way to continue with the option offense.

Yes it could....I think all the major conferences should give it a try and then each can decide upon their own teams voting on it. Thats how i think it should go at least.
