  1. Yea, they will being in a new way of thinking. They wont care about the recent failures at NU, but will be on the field blazing their own path.
  2. He may never make it at QB? I was a big Crouch fan during his time at NU, but he absolutely no chance at making it into the NFL as a QB. He is an option player, through and through. All of the normal quarterbacking skills such as passing and reading defenses are lacking in his arsenal. He can read D-ends just fine and know when to pitch, but that isnt completely his fault. I hope he makes it in, I just dont think he has the ability to make it as a QB.
  3. I wouldnt think that timeis very accurate, but he is probably much faster than 5.45 but not 4.38. Its good to have players like this returning because our secondary is a concern for us this year.
  4. Im going with Miami but c'mon big red recruiting machine.

  6. HAHA Oh yes the definitely are... hopefully the new guys have the talent and learn how to play against b12 receivers really fast, or we are gonna have to put up alot of points to win games.
  7. Im really liking your system Hanc...doubtful anything like it will come into place anytime soon...but here's hoping.
  8. We also didnt have the fresh talent coming in last year like we do this year...things are looking up in my opinion.
  9. I think LSU is headed downhill for a little bit before they rebound....if they can rebound all the way back to where they were last year.
  10. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? Supreme athlete, sorely needed at NU 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 6 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Depends on what position he lands in. If he ends up in the secondary, which is my guess, he will contribute quite alot, and if not, it may take a little while. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Chris Gamble 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? Unknown
  11. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? Highly skillful and understands the WCO which will put him in contention for the starting job with JD and beck 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 6 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? 5, depends on rapidity of development in practice 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Marc Bulger 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? Possibly drafted, NFL Europe most likely
  12. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? supposed to be the best LB recruit we got... what more can i say after talking so highly of Moore 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 10 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Yes, without a doubt 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Jonathon Vilma/ EJ Henderson 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? drafted... first 3 rounds
  13. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? He is another one of the Miami type backers that Neb has been sorely missing. He isnt the best recruit coming in, with the good quality of backers we got, but he could easily climb the ladder. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 6 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Yes, all three LBs will contribute right away in alot of games. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Donaterious Thomas (sp, Auburn) 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? drafted
  14. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? First of all, Miami offered a schollie to him and we stole him from one of the premier teams in the nation right now. Thats saying something about our program. Being recruited by miami shows what type of player he is. Many Miami recruits often turn out very good, and hopefully Suh will also, but for the Huskers. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). He could very well be the most important defensive addition to the blackshirts. If he is not hes closely behind Dontrell Moore. 7 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Suh is one of those players that will have to contribute right away. Our D-Line last year was mostly a joke, and Suh will surely toughen up the front line. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Tommie Harris 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? Being a top pick in the nfl draft. Maybe not as high as people would think but definitely in the top 3 rounds
  15. 1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? He reminds me of the ideal University of Miami LB. He is a fast LB, which is something our defense has been missing. He is strong, which cant hurt in any position. I dont know much about his off the field attributes so i wont comment. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 8, i think he will be an immediate impact on our defense and will or will at least content for a starting spot. 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Yes, he will contribute right away. If he doesnt win a starting spot outright, he will get alot playing time. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Dontrell reminds me of DJ Williams. 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? He will be a young player in the nfl, probably not playing much but simply waiting for his chance.
  16. He did not impress me at all at the army game. He was manhandled several times. If he improves, he could be a decent OL for us.
  17. Lucky is an excellent Neb version of R. Bush. I agree that he could and should be used in the same type of plays. He will prove to be a huge player for our new offense.
  18. I agree he should make an impact in our secondary, which will have to prove itself this year. Being a JUCO recruit it is very possible that he could be a one and done player for us.
  19. My guess is losing to OU, Kansas St, the big 12 game, then one more loss thrown in there somewhere where we just have a bad game.
  20. I dont wanna see him leave either but he will have to see how he stacks up compared to the new qbs that were recruited this year before he makes a decision.
  21. He will definitely need to put on some weight. I would say he would be better off at a safety spot rather than in the backfield.
  22. Yea i agree its too early to tell, but even based on potential, this class is better than any in recent years. Hopefully they will stay healthy and stay out of trouble off the field so we see a great class mature together and win more games than recently.
  23. Hopefully this recruiting class will be the start of a growing trend of good NU classes. Each year they will try to cut down on the number of needed JUCO's and fill those spots with talented high school players.
  24. I got one....didnt even bother to check his site out.
