  1. I think this is a Heisman ruling not NCAA but I could be wrong.  I don't think they are part of the same thing but I guess I don't know for sure.

Forfeited wins (stupid punishment unless you are giving the losing team the win.  Punishments should be simple, if you cheat, you lose home games, that is it) is an NCAA thing, right?

Great.  So, now I have to decide that if it gets to $2.51 and I'm at break even, do I sell?  Or is it going to explode and make me rich?

When it hit 5 dollars a few months ago I was pretty convinced it would get well over 10.

Now, I am not so sure but I do think it will hit 5 again.  So you could hopefully double your money.

Do you guys have an investing club at your school?

I do a stock market game with certain classes.

They get a set amount to start with and they buy stocks and the game site tracks it all for us and in the end there is a winner.  The problem is that it is short term(ish) so it is not accurate.  We just run it for 3-4 months.

Depending on how you want to disperse it amongst your scholarship guys. Right now we don’t have a ton of extremely valuable guys. The elite level players where you are spending big bucks on. Other than DR & maybe Banks. Keep in mind the roster is 100+. 85 scholarships. We have supposedly a pot of 10 million. The more elite players you have the more you’ll pay.

and please keep in mind it’s housing, food, clothes, books/tuition. And cars for guys too. It gets expensive fast.

My guess is that his NIL "scholly" would just be for one year, maybe even just a semester.  Then he would have a chance to get another "deal", so in the end it could be as low as like 8-10K to have him as a "walk-on"

Moskowitz answered, “Well, I mean, listen, I don’t like guilt by association, but if I was participating in a protest and I was trying to do it peacefully, right? And my ‘cease-fire now’ protest became a ‘bomb Tel Aviv’ protest, maybe I would leave. Or if we were holding up the Palestinian flag and all of a sudden people started screaming pro-Hamas things. Maybe I would leave, but that’s not what happened, Abby. That’s not what happened. They were integrated, and it took five days for them to make a statement saying, ‘Oh, that’s not us.’ The only reason they made that statement is because they’re losing the narrative, because unfortunately, they’re being exposed.”

  6. I totally understand the idea behind it and what @BigRedBuster is saying and also like he says it is for a small % of customers and hardly enforceable.

I don't agree with that type of clause but I get why the employer would want it in place.

That right there is why they're so awful. A company should value and work to keep it's employees and customers. If they can't do that that's their problem, no a legal one.

    Yep!

    Love this.

@teachercd  Well, SOUNW all of a sudden thinks it's hot stuff today, up 35%.  To bad it has to go another 44% for me to break even.  :laughpound

    Dang!

    That stock is nuts.

Like I said, I dumped it and made a like 200 dollars maybe.  I could have made way more had I sold it when it got well over 5 dollars but I just kept thinking that maybe it would explode

It is probably going to get back near 6 dollars as it pairs up with NVDA.

So I went back and checked.  I got 300 shares for 86 cents.  Sold those at 2.43

Then bought 100 at 5.60 and sold it at 4.50 UGGGG!

Why do all of these so called champions of the free market turn around and act like little whiny b!^@h victims when the market forces decide that their products are s#!t?

It's the same energy as kids playing in the cul de sac and the kid that makes up the new game keeps inventing new rules when he's not winning and then rage quits.

Pressing "reset" on the Nintendo when you are losing...I HATED the kids that did that.

Now, when I did it, I did it because there was a glitch or something like that.

I have my 401K that I very very seldom ever look at.

I have an old IRA that I started when I owned a different business.  That one I play around in.  I tend to buy a stock and hardly ever sell.

For me, I get attached to certain stocks that I buy.  It makes it really hard to sell them even when they are tanking.

I am trying to change that approach and being happy with "modest" gains and on to the next one.
