If you read my post you will see that the rocket science I referred to was a coach giving his team the best chance to win, not the WCO. The WCO is rocket science and that's a big part of the problem. As to the complexity of the option game, even though I've never played "organized" football, I watched the option evole at Nebraska since I've been watching the Huskers since the Bobfather.

So then you're back to calling Coach Callahan a "one trick pony" Not very nice IMO. I think our Coach has been around football long enough that he knows more than the WCO. On the bigger issue, I'm gonna watch all the coaches that are coaching new teams this year and see if they stubbornly try to implement their entire systems or if they fit their playcalling to their players -- both their physical skills and their mental ability to learn it all at once. I hope you'll do the same and then in January we'll know who is right!!!

No." I submit that all Italian chefs are able to make steak and eggs, and all college football coaches should be able run WHATEVER offense gives their team the best chance of winning. Now, if you'd like to hear a top notch college radio baseball broadcast listen to a Texas game next year. I'm not a broadcast journalist and I don't teach broadcast journalism. I've just been listening to sports on the radio since about 1955 and I know when "the picture is being painted" and when it isn't. Tell me the story of the game, don't tell me a story.

I dare you to chart a game while listening to Rose. If there is one thing that Rose does not do it is give spot, down, & distance. He can't, there isn't time before he starts his next tangent.
