Yeah, my brain is on overload with the way we are doing this year. I think I got Austin mixed up with Slauson. I was thinking the Prep school kid moved to the left side when I saw Austin. I don't know?????? My brain hurts!!!!!

Does GA have enogh left side experience to play well. Don't get me wrong, I think GA is a great player. But it is so late in the year and now does that make our right side weak??? Thoughts?????

So Lucky isn't talented????? BC sure doesn't seem to get him on the field too much. That's not what I said. I said it takes time to develop. Not to mention. Let's switch ML with Bush and see how well bush can (not) run behind this OL. ML would look great at USC because their OL will open a hole and let ML use his talent and speed. It makes a difference if you are turning on the speed in the other teams secondary instead of our own.

So....what you are saying is KU has better talent on the field then we did? So...what you are saying is we had better talent then OU on the field two weeks ago? Yet we lose to a team that has started the most true Freshman in the nation this year? So...what you are saying is eventhough this OL is not recruited by BC and that they weren't WCO players but instead power football OL they can't block for a RB? Sorry Neb Bob I don't buy it! I will buy it Bob. I help coach for my boys' 5th & 6th grade FB team and even at that level we substatute OL in and out. NU has noone the sub in. They have got to be as worn out as all hell.

I wouldn't say that, they have been in the same system for a while longer than we have. Our players are still unsure of what they are doing. They get worse after each loss. They have lost their confidence. 2 undefeated teams lost today too. 1 by a good UM team but the other by a bad Arizona team. Playing on the road is tough it don't matter who you are. We need more talent. BADLY. Just have patience Huskers. It doesn't happen over night all the time.

I think We still have a good D. You look at OU's Schedule. OU scored 24 on UCLA (8-0) when they had QB problems......UCLA scored more and won They only scored one more TD on our D (INT 4 TD).......we just didn't score enough. Good teams score on good Defenses, we just keep waiting to loooooong to get a rhythm on offense (after we're down 21 pts). How many teams have scored 28 on Texas??????? UT spotted OSU 28 points and came back a won it with their offense. OSU scored more points on UT than Texas Tech??? We'll get there Husker fans, don't give up the ship just yet.

Another thing...... How far would OU have went in 2000 without Rocky Calmus(sp?) and Roy Williams????? That's what we are like right now!!!!! Did OU's offense score a bunch of points on FSU????? NO!!!! Final score was 13-2!!!! We had a GREAT D until we lost some major contributors. Let's get some depth and we will return to greatness!!!!!!! GO BIG RED

Please Husker fans, let's not forget about the new kids that will definitely make a difference once they get the feel of their position. Right now few new recruits are getting to play and the ones that do, not very much. Not to mention when we get M. Herian back. We also have a lot hurt this year with no experience to back them up. How would this offense be without swift, or mulkey, or ross. Think about who we will have next year that will step up and fill depth spots. Injuries have really slowed us this year. Health and depth will fix this years problems. Look at the teams that were down and came from nowhere to start kicking butt. Their players have been in the system (or a similar one) for more than 1 or 2 years. Time will fix us.
