  1. I think T.O. doesn't want to be seen as a shadow coach. He wants to let Bo learn how to be a coach. i think TO would offer advice about managing a staff if Bo was open to it, which i think he is. bo is a great coach, but managing a coaching staff is completely hard. i get the impression bo just wants to coach, that is what he knows and that is what he does best, but he is still learning how to be a head coach, and TO has been there for all of its ups and downs. TO's advice would be invaluable when it comes to learning how to be a great Head Coach, rather than just knowing how to call a great game. But what happens when T.O. isn't there? I agree he should get all the advice he can get but at some point he has to be his own coach which he is slowly doing. He can only learn from experience. to was a great coach, with good assistants...but remember one thing about to, he recommended solich as head coach, and i thought that decision was bad.......though he is have a good year at ohio this year. Solich wasn't that bad. Started doing better after he fired all the crappy assistants. But the former AD was the real problem.
  2. Yeah but only 10 carries? come on. I don't think Bo would've been that stupid not to play him more if he was ok. God i hope so....
  3. Oh don't you worry Mack will be whining and moaning when in 3 weeks the Tide roll right over the longhorns for the National Title. he will be wishing he was playing Ohio State again. lol.
  4. ah ok. If he was hurt i would understand. I didn't know if the coaches were like "we will surprise them with burkhead haha they will never see it coming" attitude.

  7. I can relate too but i didn't cry. I could atleast understand if it was a close game but it wasn't close.
  8. I know for someone we rode through all season it amazed me why he wasn't used more.
  9. Limitations on Reviewable Plays ARTICLE 6. No other plays or officiating decisions are reviewable. However, the replay official may correct egregious errors, including those involving the game clock, whether or not a play is reviewable. This excludes fouls that are not specifically reviewable (Reviewable fouls: Rules 12-3-2-c and d, 12-3-4-b and 12-3-5-a). Your wrong again, and you KNOW that there was one second left anyway. Stop focusing on the wrong reasons we lost. I'm disputing it due to the fact that the ref whistled the play over w/ zero seconds left on the clock. There was no reason to review the play for any reason! And if it were at any other point in the game - say the end of second quarter - that one second would not have been applied to the clock! This isn't the first time this has happened. I've seen it before. It happened in the Notre Dame-SC game this year, the clock went to 0:00 than the replay officials reviewed it and 1 second was put back on the clock and ND ran another play from the 4 yard line. Frustrating yes, groundbreaking no. Well given the fact that officials all over college football have been calling bad calls doesn't surprise me. Atleast the SEC took action when it happened two weeks in a row and suspended them.
  10. He had less carries but more yards than Burkhead. If he wasn't why wasn't Helu on the field more? Sorry if this was already known i tried searching but couldn't find anything.
  11. no, if we got robbed, we tell the big 12 we are joining another conference, just join another one anyways. What exactly is Nebraska getting out of this except getting shafted? Atleast if we played in another conference we could schedule Oklahoma every year like we use to play them......
  12. What did you expect the Big 12 refs don't know the rules especially when Texas plays.
