  1. Good to hear! The Northwestern game drove me crazy when our defensive backs on 3rd down would stand five yards behind the first down marker, and they would continue to complete those short little passes.
  2. Those corn helmets would have us be the laughing stock in football! Absolutely not on those
  3. Keep telling yourself that. I'm not saying I believe it I'm just saying that's probably how the OP thinks.
  4. We got extremely vanilla in the 2nd half. We literally just called the same plays over and over again with running Burkhead up the middle, the Martinez draw, and when Martinez calls the audible by falling back and pushing his hand up and down to the receivers. I know every time he does that it's going to be a pass so obviously South Carolina does as well.
  5. This game, I thought we took it to the SC d-line. At least, OL is far back on the list of problems yesterday. Giving up 6 sacks is really handing it to the D-Line yeah I know three of those came on the last three plays but that just shows the lack of heart and fire our o-line plays with. FIRE BARNEY!
  6. I'm assuming this is a joke post that the firing in Watson made no difference in the Huskers offense this year.
  7. well judging by that video it looks like the pep rally got a little out of hand
  8. I don't understand why he would take a job there. He is currently one of the highest paid coordinators and turned down a job at Vandy last year which would lead me to believe he could land a better job then Arkansas State. There may be more to this that we don't know. From the subtle hints thrown around on Twitter, Malzahn was looking to get away from Auburn. Apparently things weren't all roses over there. I'm also guessing this had something to do with it too. and remember Auburn's defensive coordinator left to take the same job at UCF. An obvious demotion which leads me to believe there's something fishy going on at Auburn. I'm guessing they become the next team with major NCAA violations.
  9. Obviously this was a joke tweet or a hack. No way Bo hires a video coordinator as a defensive coordinator. Unless Bo wants to be defensive coordinator and his hiring this guy to stand on the sideline and get yelled at.....that's more likely
  10. One thing I was excited for when Nebraska joined the Big 10 was the bowl games they have in Florida. I live in Florida and will be in Orlando to root for my Huskers, and hoping for the same result as when we faced Clemson in the Gator Bowl
  11. Luckily the Big 10 doesn't have an affiliation with the Holiday Bowl so that last game can't happen, which I assume you were being sarcastic about.
  12. Selection show is tomorrow at 8:15 ET (I believe) on ESPN
  13. Bo absolutely has the so called "it" factor. He proved it by taking a team that was as disorganized a football program under Callahan and turned us into a consistent 9-10 win team. Let's face it people we don't have the pizazz in Nebraska to be a consistent national title contender, but Bo will at least keep us consistent. Then when he gets a real great team together one year he can challenge for a national title. I am behind Bo all the way except for his philosophy on rarely blitzing.....but that's another topic of discussion.
  14. Well these projections haven't been updated since July so they haven't been able to see that Evans' play this season or see that Sirles hasn't played at all so obviously they will not go in the first round next year barring a massive turn around
  15. I know it's deserved, but it is surprising in a way to see LSU with ALL of the first place votes. Usually you have a couple voters throw one at the 2nd place team.
  16. It definitely looked like a concussion with the way he was kneed in the head on the play and how he was slow to get up.
  17. Absolutely amazing to see this team come together and pull this win out. Let's hope we can carry this on for the rest of the season! GO BIG RED!
  18. The fans have every right to boo as much as loud as they want. We expect hard nosed Husker football, and right now we look like a bunch of pansies. Huskers are at home against a team that's missing about every key player on their team, and we are just bending over for them. Bo, get your team playing hard or the boos will continue
  19. Corso actually has a great record for picking teams. He's 4-0 this year and 3-1 when he picks Nebraska. The kiss of death comes from Lou Holtz
  20. It was certainly hard to watch this game as a USF student. There was no intensity at all out the USF defense and Ray Graham ran all over the place.
