We finally went to G3 Sunday night. I thought it was a bit better than 2 but not near as good as 1. The Guardians have been one my favorites of all the Marvels. I like the lightheartedness and soundtracks. 3 was a bit too tear-jerky and the music wasn’t as good as the last two. My wife was a bit lost on the Gamora storyline as she hasn’t really watched Infinity War or Endgame in context yet. In fact, it was a bit confusing for me so maybe I missed another movie or two in there somewhere.

I'm on the same wavelength; it's better than 2, but can't touch 1. And I'm pretty disappointed in the soundtrack.

That makes sense, I think he could be a good rover LB like Domann was for us but I think he's pretty skinny to be taking on the OL at the college level when he's so good at making plays in space downhill.

If his frame can handle 30-40 lbs, that'd be right around the same size as Domann.

Teddy Rezac certainly fits the mold of what Notre Dame likes to do with their safeties. He plays really well between the hashes and can come down and make tackles. I don't know if our defense fits him quite as well.

If her were to come here, I'd throw 30 lbs on him and make him a LB.

I don’t believe this actually happened. I don’t like their laws and can understand some confusion by doctors but, if they really refused to provide care, they shouldn’t be practicing medicine. If things were really that bad, those doctors would leave to practice in other states. Feel pretty safe saying this is complete bulls#!t.

Weird as hell for grown men to think about a 17 year old kid so much.

As opposed to the 18-22 year old kids we think and talk about all the time on this message board?

Ladies and gentlemen of the GED class of 1999, I have one piece of advice for you. No matter what any stripper tells you, there is no sex in the champagne room.

Also, you don't get your money's worth if you wear jeans to the strip club.

Don't know if there is any validity to this or not, but seeing theories that we could put some grad students (Thompson, Reimer, TyRob, etc) on NIL scholarships since a) grad students take less classes and b) masters level classes can be taken online for cheap.  This would mean that tuition would drop from about $25k for an undergrad to around $5k for a grad student.

I've been in the "NIL scholarships don't work for a lot of reasons" camp, but doing it for grad students with 1 year left does make some sense when you look at it.

    County Scholarships are BACK, folks!

The only reason I could think Purdy would stick around is that he used his "free transfer" to come to NU.  Although I don't think he would have much of an issue getting a waiver from the NCAA to not lose a year of eligibility.  He also can transfer to a FCS-level school, and not lose any years.

He's going to be a Sophmore this year, right? Might be an ideal candidate to go spend a developmental year at a Juco and see where he can land afterwards.

I don't think that's even close to the program's top issue.  There's a difference between shooting your shot and blowing the wad.  I think a lot of folks are chasing unicorns.

Adrian was the #9 DT QB in 2018.  We also likely could have had Burrow.  I don't know about you, but when I look at those QB rankings no one ever hears from 7 of the top 10.  For every Trevor Lawrence, there's 7 Uncle Rico's.  Furthermore, several of these guys that end up being elite, at least recently, are transfers.

Again, this is just my opinion, and based off what we've heard 2nd hand, but we've got the ability to compete in the upper tier of NIL, so why not do it? Adrian was the #139th ranked player in his class; Burrow was 280. Dylan is #1, and for all intents and purposes, we were leading with him as close as a month ago. And I would be on the same side of this argument if this was a far-and-away incredible DT, or OT, or WR. We've got to be competitive across the entire spectrum, and pinching pennies when it comes to NIL is fighting with one arm tied behind our backs.

You don't think you can improve this program without a the top QB recruit in the country?  One Player?

Is there other evidence we are not at least attracting top level talent?  Are we losing top talent/targets to NIL?

I'm sure @Mavric is the only one that knows this.  I haven't heard a lot about it.  I happen to think we are going to find out this year that the current team does have talent.  It may not be playoff talent, but it's certainly better than "no bowl" talent.

Do I think Dylan Raiola would improve the team? Absolutely. Do I think we can find 3-4 offensive linement that can match his potential output and impact on the program? Possibly.

Look at it this way: Nebraska can attract 3 to 4 star linemen virtually every year; we've signed 10 in the last four years alone. Nebraska has not been this close to signing the #1 overall QB in 30 years; you have to shoot your shot and give everything you can when you have the opportunity to.
