+1 to the "most Loyal" I know that you can talk to about 75% of the population of Nebraska and they will at least know some of the current players and some history facts about the team. I think that's why the rumor got started b/c it seems like any one you talk to in Nebraska they have opinions and some knowledge on the team. We have to have the highest per capita fan base.

I've been thinking about the QB question this afternoon. I had something come to mind that is troubling me. Is Watson's Scheming messing with our QB growth and production? Meaning, Our defense is solidly schemed allowing Carl and team really specialize the coaching for each player. Watson seems to want to Master in not mastering, aka. being "multiple". Is this something standing in the way of our QB growth? What are your thoughts? Or do you think that we are going to start using QBs as we do RBs and make them situational? (Hope you get the concept of my question. I'm scatter brained today. )

Uh did you read my post or what man? 4 man playoff...the number 5,6,7,8 teams in the nation have the same record as the number 4 team. You don't think they won't cry about not getting in? 16 team playoff would add way too many games and then every game would not matter as much as it does right now. Don't talk about basketball...it's completely different. 1. Nobody cares about the regular season really. 2. The tournament has 65 teams so of course there is little doubt. But who is to say that this team wouldn't have beat this other team if they played? But the brackets aren't set up for those teams to play so honestly you never really know who the champion is. The champion could have lost to some other team they didn't see because they were in another bracket and got knocked off by someone else. Make sense? Any team can beat another team with the right luck...does that mean they are the better team in the long run? You think the Cardinals were the right team to be in the SuperBowl? They had a horrible record but made it into the playoffs when plenty of other teams didn't make it and they had much, much better records but didn't win their division. Playoffs are just as flawed buddy. You doubt that Florida was the NC last year? Let me put it to you this way...Nobody has thought up of another system that works. Don't try to explain a system to me, because you have no idea of all the factors you need to consider so I don't want to hear a system from me, you, or anyone else that is not a freakin genius. Like NASA type genius who thinks of every angle possible. Once again my advice to NCAA is to not listen to any of us. We have no idea what happens in the background and most people rush to judgements and mess things up with their emotional bias and haste. Sounds like the U.S. government has heard you. lol FML

True, but there aren't any pro teams in Utah that play football. Unless they get the other UFL team this year. Plus there's a lot of Mormons in the world You just went there.....

Once again no one will start but Lee Beginning the season, baring any unforeseen disasters. I have lost most of my man crush on Green but I still feel he has the right tools to be a good QB. (maybe not the second coming of Frazier but Good) I'm still not sold on "T-Mart" although I am very Cautiously Excited to hear good things. The other thing I know is in no way shape or form is have 3 contenders a Bad thing. I am SO ready for fall!!!!!!

I talked to my Doctor the other Day. Ben and the trainers felt it was best for his health to leave the team. He told me the reason I wanna say it was a Neck bone out of place. I also heard that Blachford tore an ACL or ACM? and had surgery. (That is hearsay from the Gas Station though)

Both rules are cry baby BS. I mean come on now the players can't have the N on the eye blacks. Really if you can't deal with seeing a bible verse on a kids eye you need therapy. Is it really offensive to people to see that? I don't much to care to see guys kissing so I don't watch. The other rule is crap too IMO if it isn't taking time off the clock and nobody is physically hurt it should be legal. It is an emotional sport played by guys it's not patty cake with your niece. :facepalm: :facepalm: (yeah 5 of 'em)

I picked Lee, Not b/c I want it but that is the way it will be. They are going to start him because he can lead the team the best at this point. But, I see lot's of subbing coming in the first few games until they are sure what each can do in game. I Think HuskerTrucker has hit the nail on the head with his post. No way they will start anyone but Lee first but after that I think CG or Martinez could step up at anytime to take the lead. I've always rooted for CG but sounds like Martinez is making vast improvements which is great to hear. No matter the QB I just want Ws.

At my workplace there is a true Longhorns Fan. He literally wears UT gear everyday I also wear husker gear everyday. Our morning conversation "Huskers suck....Longhorns suck........Yeah we will see wont we" All joking aside There is truly a ton of respect for us from SOME UT fans. But, Everyday this game draws nearer the tension grows. (P.S. he admits they got lucky)
