Well wasn't game 1 stressful. I guess indications are that this will be a long series. So far so good.

The blues have never been 4-0 ever. As a blues fan base, we are pretty skeptical. Although right now, the blues are playing pretty well.

A couple of years ago, the Blues fired Davis Payne after 6 games. That's when they hired Hitchcock and went on to almost win the President's trophy. Not quite as short, but it sparked the team. Maybe the same will happen in Philly.

I like the fact that Chris Carpenter is hanging around these young guys. Give them some of his attitude on the mound.

That's two starts in a row for wacha. Pujols is the gift that keeps on giving. We'll be in game 5, just hope we can get to Cole this time. Having seen him just a few days ago really helps.

That's a great website. Had quite the sports day, cards playoff game then blues night cap. Since this is hockey, I'll discuss blues. They looked solid, had great moments, had bad moments. Their great moments obviously allow them to carry through the bad. They continue to score, they will be really good. I thought Seth jones, looked shaky early, but settled in nicely. He showed great potential, should have a nice rookie season.

I stopped watching that game about half way through the 3rd, could tell Anaheim was not real thrilled. I like it when teams are getting mad on day one. Colorado looked really good, gonna be fun seeing them in the west this season.

Ok, obviously I am huge Cards fan. Can't help it living here in St. Louis. The Pirates are one of the few teams that scare me. I'm hoping they get shaky being in the playoffs for the first time in a long time, but I'm not convinced that will happen. If the birds can beat the bucs, I see them making the world series, very much like the 2011 team. Either way, I'll be at game one and maybe game two. I see the Cards beats the A's in the series.

On another note, I just scored a pair of tickets to the home opener one week from today. Very much looking forward to the game. I think your season hangs on the shoulders of Halak. He's been pretty good past couple of years, and if he can keep it up, I think St Louis can definitely give Chicago all it can handle... I believe this is a contract year for him. He stayed here in St. Louis over the summer to work on his game, so I'm hopeful. If he plays up to his capabilities I agree we can play w/and beat Chicago.
