  2. Husker Max is back up this morning with a note that BBS will be back up in 24-48 hours. Soap opera continues.
  3. New York is low, but this one is even more a mystery to me. 37. Massachusetts - 9 They must all be playing soccer?
  4. Mark Mumford Great Soph season, then knee injuries caught up with him. 3 years healthy and he would be mentioned on every all time LB list.
  5. I know an active Jayhawk alum and he doesn't seem too thrilled about Turner's hire. I just remind him it was BUFFALO.
  6. Agree completely. If we hadn't of lost to Iowa State in them, I wouldn't mind seeing them again. Course we lost to them this year, so unis may not mean much. Red on red? Just ugly.
  7. I agree, but 1992 Alabama? Come on. No offense, great defense. 1995 Huskers were dominant on both sides of the ball. Miami 2001 should be getting a lot more votes than 92 Bama
  8. Glover had about 21 tackles while being blocked by a 1st team All-America OU center. What a game he had. Suh's Texas performance got me thinking about Glover's greatest game. I would hate to pick between them as the greatest NU player's defensive game.
  9. A little off topic, but Jack Payne was good at Husker football, but even better at Creighton basketball. Probably the best college play-by play man I have ever heard.
  10. Tony Davis Tough as nails. Jeff Kinney Bring back tear aways
  11. Blackie Sherrod, a retired columnist with newspapers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, used to bring up the option of the NCAA going back to single platoon football. The advantages are: 1) Less football scholarships, say 45 compared to 85 under current system; 2) Eases Title IX problems by cutting women's scholarships by 40, or keep same number of total scholarships, but bring back men's sports cut as a result of Title IX. 3) Ease long term health problems for 325 lb lineman. Playing both sides of ball should result in less bulky linemen. What do you think?
  12. I think he told his LSU defense when he left, that this was his dream job. Good sign. Course' I know a lot of guys that said their 1st wives were their dream girls.
