there shouldn't be special treatment just because they don't wanna join a conference *join the big ten since they're in the geographic area, and it's more then "10" teams anyway Then they could call it the BIG XII II. That's an insult to the Big XII.

Sure wouldn't mind to read what other ViQueen fans thought about their draft. Seems like most of the Huskerboard members are Chief or Bronco fans though. Needless to say....I was greatly disappointed in the ViQueen management decisions during the draft....I really feel that next year, the ViQueens will be cellar dwellers in the NFC central. Maybe next year, when they get an early draft pick because of their lousy record, they'll get better quality talent. But...I'm not holding my breath. Welcome aboard! As far as I'm concerned...yea, we're loaded. As far as I'm concerned...10? I say 11. But at this point in the year my opinion doesn't matter for much. I'm way way way too optimistic around this time because of the draft.

He can certainly look up to Uncle Cory--who doesn't?--but I think it'd be kinda hard to mentor from Baltimore.

True...but, I'd rather have the team ranked lower than higher at this point. Don't want players to get over-confident or complacent. Oh, I definately agree, I'm just wondering if they're this high on us how high they must be on the 24 teams they ranked above us.

Just wondering what everyone thought of their team's draft this year? indianahusker PMed me asking what my thoughts on the Bronco's draft was and I was curious what everyone else thought about theirs. I'd especially like some Oakland and KC fan's opinions. Here's mine, taken from the reply to the pm, so forgive the syntax.

sure they are. but they do give sports writers an itinerary.. which stories to cover... which ones not to cover.... which stories will defy the preseason predictions and turn it into a miracle... you know what i mean... cmon... You think if we jump into the top 5 by the end of the year anyone of these peopl is going to call it a miracle? We're going to get the same naysayers and bull we always get whether we're #25 or #1. I'd rather we take care of business on the field and just ignored these people.
